Junior technician

ar sir/madam I’m Siza Mafanya, I am a trade tested electrician with grade 12, basic rigging, N6 and installation rule. I am currently working as electrical technician at Xanita in blackheath as a Technician. I worked Arcelor Mittal SA from 2014 to 2017. I do both heavy current, light current, mechanical and instrumentation duties at water treatment plant department. I do faultfinding on the electrical machines, Building circuits on seimens, keyence and Delta PLC and program it, installing drives of different brands. Reading and interpreting drawings. Doing standby duties and overtime. I am a hard working individual and willing to share knowledge, experience and learn as well from the others. Typical work day

A typical work day starts at 07h30, where i do my morning round checking stock levels (items used and manufactured). Then move to the office to compare items used vs items booked out and compare stock levels on pastel. Then i would book various item to specific job numbers. i would check my mails for any new jobs and what it required for them. place neccesary orders for needed parts or stock. after lunch i would typically move to the lab to do my qaulity checks on manufactured items and raw materials. Also ther would usually be various requests during the day ranging from qaulity issues to stock needed that i would attend to.

Cons: not always great communication
