Great exposure to corporate culture and results driven environment. .
The work environment is agile. The employees therefore work from home with the use of Barclays security encrypted assets (company issued laptop and dongle). This module allows employees to manage their time in order to meet their targets whilst also maintaining a work/life balance. Colleagues -highly driven great EQ. We work well together to achieve targets Manager is transparent. Delegates work to members within the team to afford the opportunity to learn and gain experience. What I enjoy most is the agile working and the flexibility that it provides. A challenging aspect is that Special Operations is a new department, we are still learning and there is room for improvement and upskilling of staff. What I have learnt - compliance in the financial service sector, the importance of streamlining. Technical skill -I have learnt the importance of the use of excel, vba and sql to work more efficiently.
Pros: Great Manager, wonderful team and colleagues.
Cons: Poor opportunity for growth. Stagnation can occur.

I am currently working three roles due to capacity issues,so i work very well under pressure and i am a great team player.i would say my working relationship with my co-workers is exceptional,we are more of a family then colleques.

Great work experience
We work flexible hours with different African countries. Also vendors in India hence time differences has to be catered gor. We work weekends for deployments. Our culture is great, we work well together and assists each other whenever. It is great working there as we get exposure to different cultures, religions and personalities. We also get to travel. It has been a great learning curve as I joined straight from university on the graduate program. They give us training to upskill ourselves.

Excellent learning opportunity
Excellent learning experience and opportunity with great customer satisfaction based strategy. The best big bank to work for in my opinion. I started as a fresh young lad knowing absolutely nothing about the industry and during the course of my career can confidently and proudly attribute my knowledge base and skills to my company.

Great possibilities and exciting opportunities for me.
I'm thrilled to have worked for absa. I had freedom do do my work with excellence. I was allowed to be creative and also to collaborate with my colleagues as a member of the team my contribution was always valued. I had a great relationship with colleagues and still do.

I have experience in the administration.
absa is a very big company that provides its employees with a lots of opportunities, when i first joined the company i had no experiences but they gave me an opportunity to learn. i was an administration clerk at 1st then a payment admin, the later made me a third party recovery consultant.
Pros: yes
Cons: i was working from eight o'clock in te morning untill half past four in the afternoon.
