Absa is a great and wonderful company everyone can wish to here. I enjoy working here because everyday you learn something new and my colleagues love helping where they can. I have learned about saving money and investing. Also the good thing I love is that my team take care of transactions performed in all point of sales in retail stores like Pick n Pay, Shoprite, etc. The most challenging aspects of this job is you keep learning new things everyday and this kinda sound interesting. My team work with technologies like mainframe,easytrieve,jcl,hogn so myself I now want to explore more by learning latest technologies.

Great company with lots of opportunities
I learned a lot regarding that I started as a front line teller in 2013 and I know about customer service and confidentiality products that Absa offer their clients ethics and achieving goals and working hard rewards,even thought I worked as a temp for all those years I was committed and valued my job I did what was expected of me with integrity because it helped me grow to work independently as well as in a team i could also make own decisions that benefited the company as well. The teamwork was amazing we learned a lot from each and were taught to multitask so in case one has to go on any leave there's always someone to fill and I enjoyed that it was not easy at first but we later understood the purpose of multi skilling and how it benefited us individually.

Fast learner and adapt easy to new environment
I work in a branch, I face customers everyday and it is challenging @ time but with the support that we give each other as colleagues it becomes more easy to deal with everything that comes your way.

Team player
Was working at Absa for the passed 5 years, was working as a teller and customer service. In my working experience, I have built a strong relationships with my co-workers and we worked as a family. Working as a team has taught me to build a relationship with my co-workers, to get the job done in time. What most I enjoyed working with my team was, we knew when we had to deliver to the company and generate the sales branch, we helped each other to meet our targets.

Good day, my day starts off by prioritizing my daily work load. following up to previous emails, requests and instructions from my clients.. I work within a team that services high to ultra high net worth clients within Absa. I have a great relationship with my co-workers and find it easy to earn their trust and respect. over the past ten years I have gained a vast knowledge within the banking world. my experiences within the industry has brought much joy to me as I take delight in servicing my clients and showing them that it is not just customer service but also a customer experience that I have to offer.. I find new challenges work to my benefits because I excel under pressure..

My Work Experience
Love the people management part of my job. Love the flexibility to work in different offices where needs be. Typical work day comprises of report compiling, interaction with Operational management & their teams as stakeholders. learnt a lot over my years in collections & still enjoy to review the processes & optimize them. The challenges are that one never gets to complete all that needs to be optimized due to some red tapes here & there, even though industry wise it's proving that we are behind & should catch up.
