Excellent learning experience
Working at ABSA was a tremendous experience. In the 6 months being there I have experienced great staff interactions. We took inbound calls on short term insurance which could get hectic at days when we have bad weathers. I enjoyed the work experience the most ad I was no so much exposed to the inbound insurance environment. The challenge faced was abandoned calks and SLA dropping due to high call volumes and short staff

Good experience
Flexible working hours. Relaxed working environment Friendly colleagues Absa is a good place to move around different functions and cross skill. It gives you that ability to easily switch careers

Good work-life balance and competent staff
Good competent colleagues with great working relationships. Good work life balance with flexible hours and including the option of working from home as the need arises. Typical work day sis a 9 to 4:30. The company is still trying to find it itself so unfortunately departments seem to work in silos with little collaboration or a unified culture. Bank benefits are good such as staff interest rates and no bank charges unfortunately individual performance is not rewarded. Staff and management are generally advance in years with very few young persons as well as very few opportunities for promotion

Challenge
Company facing challnges worked for Absa for 10 years and their culture keeps changing due to economic conditions and they have been trying to find their feet and over time they will be able to be defined

I have great learning computer literacy. I have studies Anthony and physio as well as business.
I am hard working and work well with others. i do filling, booking new and old clients. arranging documents from their files and doing new and old wills. i also handle the telephone and the diary according to our appointments. i have a great relationship with my co workers as its much easier to work together than against each other. on a daily basis i learn new things for example terms, new ways of working and so on. i enjoy working with people as i am a peoples person and very friendly. each day is a new challenge because you don't know what your day might bring but it is what you make of your own day that determines how your day ends i am a positive person and take each challenge as it comes.

My review
I am computer literate, able to function independatly and as part of a team. i am a hardworker, i can communicate in all eleven official languages. i am able to multitask and fuction with minimum instructions. I work from 8-16:30, Monday to friday. i have a good relationship with my colleagues. i have learned to multitask as i have to capture accurate information on two systems while talking to clients. hope my application meets your requirements

Digital Transformation
Excellent team and fun to have team get together every now and then. Learnt new technologies like artificial intelligence, third party webservices to check customer's identification and verification. Obtaining more securities to onboard high risk customers.Discussed among the team for product backlog and shared the user stories among ourselves depending upon our strengths. Helping each other with the complex requirements .
Pros: Great opportunity for learning new tachnologies way forward to digigtal trasnformation
Cons: Sometimes felt uneasy with the development team as it is an inhouse product and most of the knowledge is sitting with them.

Excellent learning curve
Ive study at boston city campus for a year after that I've worked there for four months the hade the opportunity to work at absa in ahort term insurance and im currtly working as an assistant for a long term financial advisor.

Good customer service experience
It is challenging to work at the bank,the pressure,target sales and dealing with clients everyday,during month end the system goes offline and it happens regularly.Clients Complaints every now and then,sometimes we take short lunches for the sake of the client
