I have learnt that no job is easy

On a typical workday i process transactions for clients namely withdrawals,deposits, transfers . I have learnt that fear of whats unknown to you is fear of new possibilities I enjoy learning new things and teaching others what i know as well.

Possibilities come to live

It is very great to be part of this organization, the learning it's on another level, they have all the resources for training I could really attest that this organization produce nothing but the best employees. My colleagues are very professional and excellent at executing their task. I believe after this opportunity many doors will be open I'll be fully equipped for corporate world. The most challenging part about my job is to maintain and retain existing investors because of the economic fluctuations and competition.

No Growth

Absa is a good organisation to work for. The down part is that you could be qualified for a better position but not get it due a manager not liking you. There is no room for growth if you do not know the relevant people

Currently working with in the IT Service industry as a desktop support consultant.

Responsible for the remote support to all ABSA users utilizing the given remote tools. Assist with incident and problem management by identifying and reporting reoccurring error / problems to relevant support parties. Attend all problems related incidents that have been logged on Service Now. Restore and resolve the incidents remotely or re-assign them to the applicable areas for further investigation and resolution. I work mainly with configuring users’ 3G, troubleshooting of MS Office products. Creating user profile on outlook. Linking Users to printer and scanners. Troubleshooting of internet connectivity on retail workstations and cooperate Laptops. Reset user password, enable names and user accounts on Active Directory. Remote Desktop support on (Windows XP, 7,8 and 10). Troubleshooting Financial System On workstation and laptops.

Pros: We get staff rate of prime - 3%.
Cons: The salary is competative.

Excellent learning curve

I have established a good administrative record and building skills. I have functioned in many teams and I believe this is a result of my administrative skills. I have excellent team work skills. Performing customer service duties has greatly strengthened my desire to work with public by interacting and supporting them.

Great company with lots of opportunities

I learned a lot regarding that I started as a front line teller in 2013 and I know about customer service and confidentiality products that Absa offer their clients ethics and achieving goals and working hard rewards,even thought I worked as a temp for all those years I was committed and valued my job I did what was expected of me with integrity because it helped me grow to work independently as well as in a team i could also make own decisions that benefited the company as well. The teamwork was amazing we learned a lot from each and were taught to multitask so in case one has to go on any leave there's always someone to fill and I enjoyed that it was not easy at first but we later understood the purpose of multi skilling and how it benefited us individually.

Excellent learning curve

Tye company is great to work for. A lot of benefits but not seen whilst you're working. There is opportunities fir growth however the same people are chosen over and over again. No opportunities to go further in your career and environment becomes stale.

Pros: Flexible working hours
Cons: Not enough money
