Exceptional system skills in admin process as well as people process and corporate space
Team assistant and personal to 3 or more managers at once. Totally coverage of entire business but with main focus in the business banking environment. Front line... I truly loved my job and the people. Generally the people made it a great place to work. My journey came to an end when we did a restructure and I was affected as part of many others and selected to leave. Absa gave me years of experience and quality learning. I work well with all types of individuals and people are the reason for the learnings. I have strong relationships with my colleagues. The biggest challengers was relying on other areas or systems to complete a task for you which was frustrating since I like to ensure tasks are complete and organized.

Excellent learning curve
Absa its good company to work for and the is too much growth ,Easy to approach the co-worker everyone its a team player the is support . I have learnt a lot from this company am full malty skilled agent doing enquiries, maintenance, Complaints, 3d secure for online transactions, authorizations and fleet auth . Most of all I enjoy doing authorizations its teaches you to be careful at all times .

My Typical Day at Work
My day starts early as I drive into the sunrise over the JHB CBD ready to add value and build everlasting relationships. It is a high performing team, delivering in-depth, clear, value-add and insightful internal audit assignments. Clients, colleagues enjoy working with me & alongside my clients as a partnership between business and Audit, we are able to collaborate, assess and debate their control environment as a business, including their management control approach where Exco sees me as a partner to their business. The highlight of my work is to build relationships, understand complex business processes and be able to assist my client in having sound processes and minimal risk exposure. I enjoy leading my team, growing & coaching them to become the best individual they can be, unlocking their full potential. The most challenging aspect of my work is the fact that I can always do more, but time limiting to what can be done in 365 days. The day ends where everyone is excited for what tomorrow will bring.
Pros: Fast learning, high perfoming teams, working agile, exposure to exco and working wit exco, managing people, being part of a comporate family, having fun and learning everyday, even things about myslef.

Best learning environment
I had the opportunity to learn new things and skills whiles implementing it in a live environment. Had great supporting structure as in the mentor I was given. The amount of time I had to absorb the knowledge and apply it whiles developing my own way around problem solving.

Working agile at Absa
Working in an agile environment, I quickly learned that managing expectations with senior leadership in the Western Cape and the national team will lead to the success of my team. There is an old saying…out of sight, out of mind – I had to ensure that the team and I were always top of mind even when we were not in the office by communicating to key stakeholders on WhatsApp groups and email, the activity schedule for the week and to contact the project lead (Marketing Consultant) for any queries which assisted the team to drive participation and involvement of senior leaders; example Woza Nazo Customer activations My leadership style also had to change considerably – I had to focus on performance output and not on the number of hours the team spend in the office. I have built a dynamic and high-performance team, that is respected by their peers and leadership and seen as trusted advisors.

i have feploma on NQF5, general awareness,all staff training i was a team leader,money laundering ,KYC, know in and out of NCA, did all my fundamentalist,strong job skills,experience is high,my stamdards is high, good peoples person and good team player.

Great oppertunities
Hennie is involved in managing Programmes within Absa Regulatory and Risk environment focussing on all Regulatory requirements to be compliant as per the Regulators. The role specifically involves the interpretation of Regulatory requirements and addressing all SARB routine and non-routine findings. The current programme focuses on implementing corrective actions addressing all Regulatory Requirements and associated findings including changes to Policies, all business processes, updating all procedures, update or changes IT systems including the integration of systems, addressing all training requirements across all business areas within the bank.

Middle Office Support Consultant
I've been working on a contract basis for 4 years with no indication of going permanent. I worked hard to achieved targets, sometimes 10 hrs a day. Once I have reached my target I will assist co-workers to reach theirs. I would really like a permanent job to enjoy the benefits like medical aid and pension funds. and would like to have a secure job which compliments my hard work. I get along with all cultures, get involved with charity, take part in all events arranged by the bank.
