Middle Office Support Consultant
I've been working on a contract basis for 4 years with no indication of going permanent. I worked hard to achieved targets, sometimes 10 hrs a day. Once I have reached my target I will assist co-workers to reach theirs. I would really like a permanent job to enjoy the benefits like medical aid and pension funds. and would like to have a secure job which compliments my hard work. I get along with all cultures, get involved with charity, take part in all events arranged by the bank.

Currently working with in the IT Service industry as a desktop support consultant.
Responsible for the remote support to all ABSA users utilizing the given remote tools. Assist with incident and problem management by identifying and reporting reoccurring error / problems to relevant support parties. Attend all problems related incidents that have been logged on Service Now. Restore and resolve the incidents remotely or re-assign them to the applicable areas for further investigation and resolution. I work mainly with configuring users’ 3G, troubleshooting of MS Office products. Creating user profile on outlook. Linking Users to printer and scanners. Troubleshooting of internet connectivity on retail workstations and cooperate Laptops. Reset user password, enable names and user accounts on Active Directory. Remote Desktop support on (Windows XP, 7,8 and 10). Troubleshooting Financial System On workstation and laptops.
Pros: We get staff rate of prime - 3%.
Cons: The salary is competative.

Excellent Employer
An excellent employer with great working hours and a beautiful working atmosphere with great and helpful management and colleagues. A home away from home, with a splendid work/life balance, and also gives their employees to better their skills with continuous skills development courses. Has a gym at thr campus and also voluntary overtime for anybody who wishes to have a little more on top of their salary come month end. The company also a shuttle service for employees to and ftim different locations which makes it convenient for all employees.

Great career development
At absa contact center we work 8 hour per day. Everyone is very welcoming and accomodative. In our team we're like a family. What I've learnt that working as a team is very important as we all become innovative by coming up with different ideas to improve our ways of doing things. I enjoy being innovative and solving problems through creative thinking. Nothing is really challenging except for clients that don't cooperate.

Excellent learning curve
A typical work day consists of helping clients open up account or lend money from the bank.. This requires a lot of teamwork and we support each other to get through the day. I have learnt how to work under a lot of pressure and how to interact with clients. Its hard working with people but i enjoy seeing them leave with a smile because i managed to assist them as far as possible. The most challenging this is working with people who can be very rude but i have to remain calm and professional. As well as dealing t=with the pressure of daily targets that have to be met.

Sales skills, people skills, writing skills and communication dkils
Without determination there is no success there therefore I do everything with determination and I take initiative in all that I do. I enjoy wining and that motivates me, I don’t take offense , I believe in discipline and correction. I believe in empowering oneself and self development, also empowering others as well to achieve their goals. I can work alone, as a team and under constant change. I believe in change because you then don’t become too comfortable, yet change is there because the world keeps on evolving therefore we must always be relevant.
