Good day, my day starts off by prioritizing my daily work load. following up to previous emails, requests and instructions from my clients.. I work within a team that services high to ultra high net worth clients within Absa. I have a great relationship with my co-workers and find it easy to earn their trust and respect. over the past ten years I have gained a vast knowledge within the banking world. my experiences within the industry has brought much joy to me as I take delight in servicing my clients and showing them that it is not just customer service but also a customer experience that I have to offer.. Experience and learning curve
I am Abongile Chitwa employed by Absa as the Teller. My responsibilities cover accepting and issuing money to customers as well as selling Absa Products like Funeral Benefits, etc. Before joining the present employer I was employed by the BAT as the Cashier, responsible for counting huge sums of money from the Reps. On my educational background, I passed Grade 12 at Pretoria Institute of Learning. In my career, I have learned to comply with the rules and regulations, policies and procedures, and the code of conduct of the employer when performing my duties. I am a hard worker who is committed to her duties and responsibilities trustworthy and reliable. At Absa I have received Award/s for excellent performance. Excellent learning curve
I I work in service environment where I service policy holders and Financial advisors alike,. I make amendments ( Changes ) to policies and retain cancellation,. Informed clients on how to best align their financial objectives with company offered solutions,. Keep abreast with changes in the environment - Escalate any concerns or issues to managers ,. Liase with departmental heads to get common ground in order to deliver exceptional service.

A excellent learning school
A excellent learning school! Absa has really transformed me into a great ambassador, I have learned an immense amount of knowledge over the last couple years. I have made great relationships which will stay with me for years to come. A typical day at work is generally hectic as it is the nature of business I serve in, as mentioned the I have learned a great, but most of the new technology, and what is happening in the market out there.
Pros: Great exposure
Cons: Intense, but a pro and a con.

Business Growth
Need to check if I'm being paid according to what is expected. Company has been a blessing to me for working here. Too much learning from being just a technician, worked my way up to heading couple of migration projects, to managing service desk in CIB. Got promoted to Operations Manager managing team of Field Service Managers per campuses in Johannesburg until I moved to Service Management as part of managing the overall Payment Service in CIB
Pros: Analytical, Task bound and always dedicated to work and ethics required.
Cons: Sometime not easy to deal with forever rapidly changing technology, which anyway comes as a learning experience

Excellent communication skills
No career growth and recognition of your hardwork and sacrifices. No development, no bonuses. The business doesn't really care about it's employees and how the decisions can affect them.

I enjoy working with people.
I am working with good people, and they are teaching me how to grow myself as a professional worker. As I wish to grow, I will appreciate it if you give me a chance to prove myself.

Hardworker
Great place to be,working with positive and negative customers,I have learnt that you need to be strong working with people with different attitudes.I enjoyed the part where I had to meet my sales targets even though it was challenging.the most challenging is sales where u had to do sales everyday and meet the target monthly.
