A vital role in working as a team with my colleagues, for e.g. solving an urgent request for a client, I will refer to my KYC methodology and ensure the required documents are met. I enjoyed being calm calm especially when I'm dealing with a difficult client and find a way to resolved the situation.

Excellent in admin

It was good opportunity for me work under company that have a lots of employees and skills was achieved and experience. I have also gain to work under pressure,learn to work as a team and communication skills and interpersonal skills that I have achieved through out the learnership

Pros: It was very hectic to work by target every day and sometimes you do have to sacrifice lunch time and finish the job tasked for

Great career development

At absa contact center we work 8 hour per day. Everyone is very welcoming and accomodative. In our team we're like a family. What I've learnt that working as a team is very important as we all become innovative by coming up with different ideas to improve our ways of doing things. I enjoy being innovative and solving problems through creative thinking. Nothing is really challenging except for clients that don't cooperate.

Pros: There's a great room for growth
Cons: No job rotation

Great company to work for

In Absa since I joined, I witnesswd the organisation evolve. I have learned a lot in this organisation and I developed loyality torwards yhe company. I was offered opportunity to study and to equip myself so that I can be the best yhat I can be. Moved roles and enjoyed every moment of it and the leadership support is great.

Pros: Great company to work for.
Cons: Different leadership styles is great but when it comes to fairnes u may have challenge.

Excellent learning curve

Great envirnment to work in & the team is very welcoming and neutral. The best part is there is less micromanagement at this company. This by far was the best company i have ever worked for in my entire career

Excellent learning curve

I I work in service environment where I service policy holders and Financial advisors alike,. I make amendments ( Changes ) to policies and retain cancellation,. Informed clients on how to best align their financial objectives with company offered solutions,. Keep abreast with changes in the environment - Escalate any concerns or issues to managers ,. Liase with departmental heads to get common ground in order to deliver exceptional service.

Business Growth

Need to check if I'm being paid according to what is expected. Company has been a blessing to me for working here. Too much learning from being just a technician, worked my way up to heading couple of migration projects, to managing service desk in CIB. Got promoted to Operations Manager managing team of Field Service Managers per campuses in Johannesburg until I moved to Service Management as part of managing the overall Payment Service in CIB

Pros: Analytical, Task bound and always dedicated to work and ethics required.
Cons: Sometime not easy to deal with forever rapidly changing technology, which anyway comes as a learning experience

All in a Days Work

Being at Absa for over 20years now, has placed me in a good position amongst my peers and colleagues in the institution. It has given me many opportunities to take on Strategic projects. This displays the trust that my Senior Leaders have in me in getting the job done. I typically play an advisory role to these projects. I also manage the client related activities that may hinder/ or impact client experience and having managed client relationships, coupled with my experience and knowledge of the industries and clients, im able to guide /navigate the banking teams on solutioning our clients. My ability to problem solve and provide solutions to the business and our clients is what excites me. Its brings a sense of belonging, building on team cohension. Above the most rewarding part of my job , is ability to work independently empowering me to allow my creativity and
