Excellent learning curve

The company has granted me the opportunity to learn planning of hard goods while my seven years experience was aligned with the planning of bulk gases.

GOOD LEARNING EXPERIENCE

I like working at Afrox because it is educational and i have a good relationship with my co-workers. i have learnt a lot at afrox including the telephone etiquette skills and also email etiquette skills. The things i enjoy at work are the trainings on other skills that will help us to improve in one way or another.

Pros: there are no promotion opportunities

Excellent learning curve

Working for afrox is great and you are given a chance to grow. Also if you you want to study the company supports you ( pay for your fees and gives study leave. It is a very nice working environment, yes there are bad days in any work place but we always find away to sort oot problems. I communicate with my co workers at all time and we try our best to not fight. W e make a good team.

Self starter and good work ethic

Very fulfilling and unpredictable as there are a lot of opportunities to grow. Managing the size of my team is always full of new learning experiences and I always coach, guide and motivate the team to perform to their maximum potential. There's a lot of analyzing and planning of sales activities , guiding and motivating the team to perform in order to achieve their sales targets. This also involves the control and evaluation of those activities.

Pros: Great growth potential and the posibility to be promoted
Cons: Restructing as the company continuously downsize that can be a problem at times.

Mature and professional engineer with wide experience in automation

I provide operational support to 15 sites (13 in SA and 2 in Africa) from a maintenance and capital projects Key responsibilities  Provide technical support for the new projects in the region. Develop specification and protocols, control and support of software development to meet Linde requirement, review control system hardware and software configuration, testing and commissioning of new assets as necessary to be ready to take over, support of the assets post commissioning. Work with global team to develop minimum specification for new systems and roll out  Managerial reporting structure - 3 engineers reporting directly to me (day to day basis) - Reports directly to Reliability and Engineering Manager

Excellent Working

My company it is Afrox, I came here sings 2010, I work as a supervisor, I do data capturing, lab technician, generator operator, cylinder clerk and etc. I enjoy supervising because people they give me respect, the most challenging aspects is that I do economics staff also
