Excellent learning curve
A eight hours work with fifteen minutes tea time break nd a thirty minute lunch break starts with supplying th factory with packaging needed for the day using pick lists then recieving stock from suppliers which must be recieved correctly nd accuratly thn packing the recieved stock neatly at its location nd recording every stock tht u recieve and dispacth in a book as proof then confirming with yo supervisor to record th invoice the relationship with co workers is fine even though sometimes they are a bit moody and iv learnt to work as a team with my colleagues nd also learnt to have a good relationship with suppliers nd also to adhere to my supervisor instructions,I enjoy packing my warehouse neatly nd making my job much easier,th challenging thing about my job is that I sometimes work under pressure whn the factory has to produce alot of units.
Pros: great opportunity for promotion
Cons: working for a small salary

A very good learning Curve
Amka is a very good company where one is presented with a variety of opportunities that enhances personal development and growth as an individual. Each and every year there are people selected for attending certain courses related to Quality Control. I learnt team work ability as well as working independently. One of the most interesting part about the QC Department at Amka is that the manager has made arrangements that after a certain period we get rotated to different labs within the department, since in QC we have Packaging, Raw material, Bulk and finished goods. And the other thing i applaud Amka for is that during weekends, Packaging Samplers wishing to work are also taught how lab Analysts do since there are few deliveries outside coming. This helps them to get new positions when they arise.
Pros: It is the fact that one gains a lot of knowledge from various arrears of QC and end up becoming a strong asset to the company and to any company he may be in life if ever leave Amka.
Cons: The most problematic part was that when i was asked to work as a Packaging Sampler and am working outside under the sun for the whole day and i find that the next day i have a headache.

Good Working Environment
Amka is a very good company, is a place full of loving people. Since i been there i interact well with other employees. Is a very good environment for one to learn and grow as an individual. The working environment is highly conducive for growth because as for me next year they've already planned for me to go and learn a Dyrna Supervisory course.
Pros: You climb the ladder
Cons: Only overtime is there

Management overwork an employee, they do not value an employee. This is for the planning department.
Amka is a good company to work for, except the planning department. Management take advantage of employees as they are not trained as managers but get the post due to long service, they overwork employees The planning does not consider single mothers and expect after hours and weekend working. There's no complaining about management as you always made a lier in any conversation.. The company doesn't even appraise an employee for their time over worked, yet it's expected of them to
Pros: Opportunity to grow
Cons: With the amount of employees leaving, no exit interview is auctioned. HR doesn't look into any negative anyone has to say if it's not important to higher management
