Great expirience

It has been a great pleasure to work for such big company ,HR is no longer a theory that I have leant from The college. working with different people with different personalities from different department its not easy but I'm enjoying it since I'm also learning from them. I'm getting along very well with the stuff members trouble comes when its time for performance assessments ,people don't like being assessed. and part of my job is to remind everyone when it time for submission and chase after those who haven't submitted , set up performance improvement plan for under performers, most people are very uncomfortable with this process. performance management and leaning and development is what I enjoy doing the most I always tell people not to focus on the process but on the whole point of it. training and development and performance programme is there to help employees.

Pros: Opotunity to get perment job
Cons: too many departments in a companny

I am Horticulture , i am fast learner and hard worker.

I am currently working as Landscaper. I am having good relation with co-workers. I have learn to maintain the flower bed and I have experience in turf management. I have manage projects and it was successfully.

Great experience

Contractor working on a scaffolding having harness on then decided not to hook it, I told him to hook it on, he did 5 minutes later I have noticed he decided to unhook it, he was called to order and training given again on the importance of using the harness when working at the elevated position. My relationship is excellent with my fellow colleagues

Pros: Looking to be promoted soon
Cons: Submission of sick note even if you were off one day

A great exposure to supply chain management environment

I am currently attached at a busy environment where I am currently dealing with many customers. I am working in a positive atmosphere with different people with great personalities. I have learnt how to finish up projects within a required and estimated time. I enjoy working with different industries, where I get involved in how they do things. It is challenging working with different customers, some tend to be difficult sometimes.

Pros: Great learning opportunity
Cons: Too many people involved

Everyday is an opportunity for me to be better than yesterday.

I have learnt that in order for me to be successful as a process engineer, l need to be diplomatic towards my colleagues or associates ( operators) as l call them. Their well being is important as the machine uptime or availability because in that way we all win. Continuous improvement is a way of life in an organisation we need to live it, and together we can be a successful and profitable business.

Excellent Learning Curve

Working at the AIDC is very nice, you get to learn lots of things and you get thrown in the deep end when dealing with some of the projects. The reception from staff member is the best, they are very welcoming and also lives the company's Shared Value. The boring part about my job is that there is no competition, I tend to do repetitive work now and then and there are no promotions.

Pros: Nice company to work for
Cons: No growth, one stays in one position until he/ she resigns
