Callforce Reviews

It was a great opportunity to start with the project

Working for ETC has taught me a lot, how to be the best operator, handle customers, resolve their queries. Being patient, handle rude customers, be a team player and work well underpressure.

Pros:
Cons: working on weekends and public holiday

Excellent learning curve

My experience at callforce is great. It is a great opportunity for anyone. The fact that we meet different people around the world everyday. For me it is like i am travelling around the world, Something i would like to do some day. I do not really have a relationship with my co-workers as i work from home most of the time, But we do communicate every now and then. I have learnt a lot in this field. Communication is one of the things i learnt. Also people skills have improved. I really enjoy doing these interviews daily. The most challenging aspect about my job is getting my candidates to actually start working as they are also not fully assured that we are a legit company. Most of them does not do their research, So it is always up to us to make sure we provide them with as much information as possible.

Pros: Working from home
Cons: Long working hours

A reliazation of a strength and ability I did not know I had.

I only work night shift because of my nature of liking to challenge myself, I wanted to see if I would be able to cope and I am doing very well. On a typical night I will have online sessions (classes) teaching English as a foreign language to people in China. We teach children people from different career fields such as teachers, doctors, engineers etc. You get to learn and teach at the same time. You also get to learn to maintain a good attitude with the students and co-workers.

Pros: Great learning curve and experience in something different and outside of my interest.
Cons: Difficult students and long working hours at night.

Exciting to teach Asians English

You have to be confident, start work at 8 teach to about 15 to 20 clients per day. Time keeping is very important. I have learnt to be very patient and to be assisting to people that really want to grow. I enjoyed sharing my knowledge with these people. The most challenging part of this job is that you do so much for your students but the company does not allow for teacher to grow by offering courses and training programs. You basically have to learn and adapt on your own.

Pros: You learn how to work with others
Cons: long working hours with no benefits

Excellent Learning curve

I work in an environment where I deal with people (clients) on a daily basis. I teach adults and juniors from parts of Asia. I enjoy teaching the juniors, the most, as they bring life to my job. I have learned a lot over the months about other cultures, and so forth, as well as about myself. I have learned to be more patient, and push myself by all means when wanting to deliver quality performance. The most challenging aspect about my job, is that I need to learn how to balance out a work lifestyle, as well as a personal one, taking that I work night shift. In other words, setting out time to rest in time for work operates differently for someone who works night shift hours. In it all, I have personally grown as an individual, and take any job I get the privilege of doing very seriously. It is the experience that I look most forward to, as I am very hard on myself, and my number one goal is to grow as an individual.

Pros: Meet new people everyday
Cons: Long working hours

A very challenging and demanding environment

The job starts has both night shift and and that 23:30 until 08:15. The job involves teaching students for 45 minutes or 25 minutes with each hour. Staff interacts as much as possible if the time allows however the job is very demanding therefore the isn't a lot of time to interact or speak outside of the job. I have a good relationship with my managers or colleagues. I have learnt to be responsible and to maintain a schedule as advised or provide. I have enjoyed learning various words and being able to increase my vocabulary as well. This has improved my ability to speak the English as well, as it is my second language. The most challenging aspect of the job is the hours and sticking to an ever changing schedule to demand.

Pros: Able to fit around a schedule especially if you're a student
Cons: Long working hours and possible suspension due to meeting random criteria created by the parent compant

Excellent experience gained

I managed over 1000 consultants at a stage. The management structure for such a large campaign was restricted due to budget constraints. I am excellent at relationship building so all levels of colleagues was no problem but being remote was. To manage and set up a huge campaign with the right support locally then rolling out to Johannesburg was an amazing learning curve. Working with people in the consultant / tutor environment was a life experience I will never forget. The technology requirements to run a campaign of this size was an interesting and integral part of my job. The most challenging aspects of the job was acting as a go between between a Chinese company and a MD with SA expectations.

Pros: Building a language tutoring campaign from scratch
Cons: Dealing with international company constraints regarding SA Labour laws

Excellent learning curve

I am currently working night shift, so a typical shift starts at 00:30 and ends at 07:30 for me because I go to school thereafter. I typically arrive at work around 00:00 and log in to my PC and check how many sessions I have and review the lessons I will be conducting, thereafter I interact with my colleagues until 00:20 when I enter my first session and begin working till my shift ends. I have learnt to be more patient, especially because the clients are not all on the same level so dealing with each client requires a different element of you in order to ensure that they are happy and understand what you taught. My communication skills also improved a lot, especially in terms of making small talks, initiating and inducing conversations. I enjoy meeting different people everyday and learning about their worldviews and personal perspectives, it's really refreshing, the challenging aspects however is just balancing school and work, but I have done a pretty good job so far, if I can say so myself.

Pros: Improve communication skills
Cons: Exhaustion
