Maintain staff attainment., start up meeting to set the tone of the day, get each individual daily target and check during intervals how far they catching up on set target.

It’s merely ok can be much better
Long working hours, workplace health is management dependant, so is growth in the company. Work to pay ratio is low. Perks are near impossible to achieve. Almost not guarantees

Ability to be a decision maker
Working for my capitec has not only made me gain customer service experience,But the ability to resolve customer complains in a professional manner,It has helped me with my upselling and cross selling skills.The ability to supervise people and be able to make an informed decision as well as enhancing my admin ability.

Learning curve
learnt a lot about FAIS Act, TCF and Compliance monitoring. too much paper work and admin. tried to streamline the process but fell to deaf ears. management does not recognise the work thats being put in by the department.

Learning experience
I started at Capitec bank as a customer service agent, we received inbound calls regarding banking queries to make clients banking easy and better. Eg how to use the app(self serve), explain transaction on the bank statement, fraud cases etc.Now I am a team leader and my job is to manage 10 people, to make sure they are logged in,if not why and report. Help them with product knowledge through coaching and one on one session that builds relationships and in order to set expectations.To handle escalations making sure clients needs are fulfilled.In the 4years of working for Capitec I've learnt alot: patience when dealing with clients,to emphasize when needed because we are dealing with peoples money,communication at all time with clients and with my staff. Transparency to gain trust from the consumer and staff. I've learnt to listen and respect people's opinions, being able to work with different personalities.

I've never worked in a It department before and it was quite challenging however the training made it easier to understand the hardware and the systems I'll be using.

Everyday experience
Chalkenges of meeting different clients and responsible for: Floor management, client interaction, proactive, time management, sales marketing, work under pressure, presentations, teamwork, quality service assurance and patience of different clients.
