Working with people is my passion,I was based in customer services and dealing with queries on a daily basis was quite stimulating,I enjoyed the culture at work cause it was about team effort with the goal mindset so vision and game planning was very imperative in my work scope.

Professionalism

I work with a team of 7 lecturers both for software and hardware fields in the MLM department. The department has practical exposure of how the real world of IT operates and this is achieved by work related practicals. As a team we have build a spirit of team work that has seen us grow mentally and skill wise also improving communication amongst the team members. I have gained a lot of experience in expanding my IT skills and also managing projects and team members. I enjoy doing a lot of IT related researches and also working on improving the IT systems security of the networks. The challenging aspect of it was lack of resources and also limited bandwidth to do maximum research on the ongoing technology rise.

Excellent learning curve

I am currently an academic assistant who oversees the faculty of commerce and IT. A total of +- 700 students. i do everything from enrollment to graduation. I perform general admin duties as well as managing the academic coordinators diary. I have to interact with colleagues at all levels to ensure a smooth and a professional student experience. I have learned so much since i have worked here and our company is always motivating further learning. What i love most of my job is the interaction with students and sponsors. I love to see student achievements and see them grow and graduate. I am always willing to give a helping hand to sponsors in need to even a students who is struggling. The challenging part of my job would be not being able to assist someone, whether it be a student, sponsor or even a colleague. Sometime things are out of your control and would need to rely on someone or something else to assist.

The company was a home away , employees work with liberty. the environment was very conducive.

The company was a home away from home, the environment was conducive Employees had opportunities to work with liberty meeting dead lines of their individual projects, there were strategies in place to motivate the sales drivers to ensure targets are met and exceeded.

Personal development

I have learnt to work under pressure in order to achieve given targets.Always completing the tasks on time and satisfying both the clients and business.Always comes tops when delivering a service and targets.Serving students and touch thier lives makes one believe in changing lives and have an impact in thier success.

Excellent learning curve

I learned a lot and i do thank for the opportunity i was give. Challangr is that there is no overtime and also the language barrier since there is only white people. They always communicate in afrikaans and i dont understand what ever thay are saying

Excellent Learning Curve

The working environment , encouraged setting targets for us and also team work amongst the workers. I developed a good working relationship with the workers where by we shared ideas on technology changes and how to use it to better the quality of service we were providing in IT workshops. I have gained vast experience is project management and leadership styles.

CTI is a great place to work at very diversed friendly staff lots of opportunities to make commission working hours are great no work on weekends the most challenging aspect is getting students to attend open day due to their school attendance on Saturdays
