Excellent working experience

Department of health is a public sector that offers basic health services to the patients. Our main functions as the supply chain officials, in our section we were directly involved with service providers who render goods and services for the institution. We were requesting quotations and compare prices and issue orders for the selected suppliers.

Pros: Less opportunity for promotion
Cons: Normal working hours

Not inspiring

Not much happening at the office as we are getting lesser each day. I have a very good relationship with my co-workers. I have learnt a lot because most of what I am doing currently is things I have gained as on-the-job-training. I enjoy assisting others and I am currently responsible for our Supply Chain procurement for all, from capturing of Logs, assets verification, procurement of office stationery, office technical assets, etc. The most challenging aspect of the job is when is one of the co-workers leave the work place and their duties are handed over to you but no compensation given.

Pros: Package benefits
Cons: No promotion opportunities

σ˜ Motivated self-starter who takes initiative and work with minimal supervision

Its a good start experience as there are lot of opportunities . Whether you are educated or not growing is little bit a challenge ,supervised by unqualified personnel Need to agree in everything and your knowledge is mostly not considered.

Pros: benefits only
Cons: Slightly possibilities of growing

It is a learning experience as I'm currently learning new things

My typical day is to do capturing of data to the system, compile weekly report and report to the sub district. I occasionally attend meetings, facilitate in service trainings. I may not be permanent but I am regarded as a senior staff member I work well with my colleagues, I can handle conflicts and I can work under pressure I learnt a lot in the past years, things that even permanent staff don't know, I also enjoy what I do because I know my work The most challenging part of my job is not being permanent because that means I don't have benefits and incentives if any kind

Pros: Great learning curve for me
Cons: Not being recognized and made permanet
