Its good as there is a lot to learn as you work independent.
Workload is normal per day.i have a good interpersonal relationship with co workers.I have learnt good management skills, independency and networking.I enjoy being myself,caring and working with the community that i know.Challenges are there is shortage of staff.

Great learning curve
Working at the DoH has been a learning curve. I’ve improved my skills as a pharmacist. I’m looking for other opportunities to further improve my skills at other companies.

I am a very hard working person, I cope under very harsh conditions and i do unpaid overtime.
I have worked for the department of Health in the Supply Chain Management which comprises of four sections which are procurement, demand, Logistics Management and Assets and Disposal.
Pros: Very hardworking, I can cope under a lot of pressure

I am always able to learn mpre within the company and deliver the service
I am always able to work longer hours I have learnt to be humble towards people amongst me and deliver an excellent service as much as possible. I have also enjoyed working with a group of people. One of the challenges I usually face in when the users does something wrong and lie about it, but it has to be resolved at the end of the day.
Pros: I am punctual and able to work under pressure
Cons: I am only able to speak two official languages which is IsiZulu and English

Experienced
19 years experience, enjoy working in health department assisting to ease the sick, vulnerable and the community at large. Enjoy assisting people living with HIV/AIDS, awareness demonstrations and education about almost all diseases and their preventions. At present i enjoy consulting rape survivors, collecting clinical evidence and working close with police and courts.

Good facility to start as a junior Nurse
My work is so broad I face different challenges on daily basis you can’t predict what your day is going to be like because you encounter different clients in different situations but with my co workers we help each other to face and overcome

Good working relations, so far i have gained alot of experience in Human Resource Management.
Currently working at a Sub District that has 800 employees, our H.R is not specialising therefore we handle all components of H.R which can get to be very challenging as we are under staffed , but i enjoy the experience and working under pressure as it has made me gain alot.
Pros: No opportunity for promotion because there are no posts
Cons: working 8 hours depending if there is a need for overtime

Dispense medication, pull up reports for the day. Order medication that is out of stock. Communicate with the doctors on a regular regular bas. is. .
