Excellent learning curve

Working at the clinic is quite interesting because on daily basis you come across new things and you must always do things in line with the latest guidelines. My relationship with the co-workers is perfect and we have the spirit of team work. I have learned a lot ever since I arrived at the institution, and of those include administration, financial management, problem solving skills and communication skills. I enjoyed the administration part the most. The most challenging part of the job is when a co-worker decides not to keep him/ herself abreast with information which then at the end of the day drops our performance as the facility.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours

Great place to mould resilient leaders

A typical work day includes attending to patients that Doctors have requested X-rays for, aswell as attending Hospital meetings with reviews from peers on how to improve service delivery and optimise the limited resources Available. What I enjoy is the environment. It is tranquil. There is no pressure to be anything but yourself here. My colleagues are a chirpy bunch. They are willing to share tips and tricks of the trade from their experiences at the Hospital. What I have learnt here is to be self motivated. To be a self starter. I've learnt persistence works above intelligence and power. I enjoy the nature here. Its beautiful. The most challenging aspects of the job is to be conscious of the goals one wants to achieve. To evade boredom at all costs and stick to finishing whatever projects started.

Pros: Beautiful environment and scenery
Cons: Exploitation more or less very likely

Excellent career educational growth

Shift starts from 7am to 18 for 7 days.As a manager I'm supposed to work Monday to Friday 7am to 16-00., but that's not possible since we experience lot of staff shortage. A manager ends up moving from one shift to the other trying to curb the shortage. At the end of the day this really takes a toll on a person's health. Working conditions are extremely not feasible.

Pros: Leave benefits
Cons: Opportunities for promotion are next to none

in typical day i get to up date the computer that i use for stock control, then i go chart the temperature for the store room and the dispensary. Then i start attending the patients one on one at dispensary while nurses come for ward stock. the relationship with my co-workers is excellent and i enjoy working with them because we are more like family. i have learnt stock management and stock taking and management of schedule 6 and 5. i mostly enjoy working with other health professional. The most challenging aspect of my job is having to see more than 950 patients a day.
