Challenging and exciting but stressful

My job is very challenging..everyday has its new problems to solve there is a lot I need to look out for vehicles; staff,office and customer issues I love my job you never get bored as every day has its new challenges the more I solve them there more I grow and believe and myself and what I'm capable of achieving. I wouldn't run this branch without my hard working colleagues we work so well together yes we do disagree but we all agree on making our branch the best. I have also learned a lot from them hence why I believe without that every single person plays a very important role in making the branch succeed. I enjoy hectic days when it gets really busy and everyone panicks but mostly its getting through that hecticness with success that I enjoy the most and not so busy days when we get to talk and agwt to know each other better.

I am success driven, quick thinker with a positive mindset, always read for growth and to learn. I posses highly developed interpersonal, planning and organising skills with a high level of ethical and work standard with integrity. I have a B. Tech Degree in Business Admistration from the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) and a PGD in Higher Education from the same university. I have experience in administration, corporate promotions, business development and consulting as indicated on my CV (attached). Some of the organisations I have worked with include SAB, Doves Funeral Memorial Services, Dis-chem and Pan African Centre for Entrepreneurship in Vanderbijlpark. Corporate experience

Funeral Industry Burial arrangements, Preparing programs, contacting policy companies. Answering calls, assisting with client queries. Compiling stationery & welfare stock up, Business cards and program designer. Monthly billing to cluster branches. Liaising with head office regarding invoices. Assisting with day to day reception duties such as filing, emailing and compiling client Payments. Assisting incoming clients with funeral and policy related queries, sorting of payments and banking. Weekly post capturing and keeping comprehensive record of all reception duties. Compiling weekly figures from cluster branches to management. Managing of branch Petty Cash control. Employee rosters and clocking systems

Excellent learning

I work the most exciting job(working with people) Being able to assist people . learning to work as a team with my co-workers. most challenging thing in this industry is competition,but we as the company try our best to keep up with it, stay on top and keep our clients happy all the time.

Communication skills and handling working pressure

I have grown a lot i have communication skills now can work under pressure handle difficult clients and also problem solving, managing staff and well being of the branch, team playing and motivating staff and colleagues.

Excellent learning curve

Checking daily payments. Overseeing creditors. Have a good relationship with co-workers. Working with different personalities is hard work. To have so much responsibilities you much always keep a level head. To work with different cultures and to learn about the ways of life. The responsibility of a creditors supervisor

Customer service and Marketing

oWorking at doves is challenging and wonderful at the same time. Having to be at service for clients and be helpful to them is a feeling that I cant describe. Ive learnt so much over the years,answering switchboard,typing and marketing.

Pros: Been promoted from a sales agent to admin assistant

Good at other times challenging

When it comes to meeting targets in the retentions team, is rather challenging at times.But the industry as a whole is fabulous coz we all work as a team.
