I have learned to work with people of all classes, positions and races and have leaned to be patient, calm and caring. I get on well with my colleagues and don't see them for their colour but as just another person with the same problems as anyone else. My typical day is: I start by attending to all my emails and then prioritise the urgent ones that need attention. I check my managers electronic diary to see what appointments he has and then discuss any changes with him and what ever needs to be done for the day I prepare documents for the managers visit to customers and take minutes of meetings and distribute them to relevant members . I enjoy it that my boss trusts me with the running of his office and I like to get things done as they come in and do it efficiently and accurately.
Pros: My job allows me to create and organised.
Cons: When my boss is out of the office a lot I dont have much to do but none the less keep myself busy by helping other sections.

Professional
I have an extensive experience in installation, commissioning and maintenance of heavy industrial machines I have worked for Alstom at Komati as specialist turbine fitter: for Eskom at Kendal as Senior Technician and GE Alstom as a Technical Field Advisor / Site Turbine Supervisor at both Kusile and Medupi. I am now working for Eskom as a Senior Construction Supervisor at turbines. I hold a certificate in Mechanical Engineering T5: a diploma in Project Management; Professional with ECSA. I trained as a fitter and turner hands on apprenticeship.

Learning Experience
I work for a great company. My hours start from 07:00 - 15:30. I mostly gain experience seeing that I am an HR Intern. I have a great understanding and friendship with my mentors. Iv been rotating in HR to gain experience and learn from every angle. My most challenging must be the giving of presentations, I'm a great communicator but my weak point is standing in front of crowd . I do enjoy HR but I do feel like I need a change. I love interacting with people, I'm an active person, so if I can run around the office and help people or doing things for people that would keep me happy.

Typical day at Eskom
Typical work day starts at 07;30,short safety meeting.Then we go out to our sub stations and start our route line inspections.We also do call outs as the day goes on and every second week you are on standby.I have a close relationship with my co workers and my nick name is the "naughty one".There is always challengis at Eskom, but the only problem is,that due to certin matters,some people will remain where they are,

Exprienced
I work well with my fellow employees and all the stakeholders. I have learnt to chair Stakeholder Forums and Public Participation Processes. Mostly I have learned to develop Stakeholder Management Strategies. I enjoy engaging, analysing, mediation and negotiation with the aim of finding solutions on issues and matters on the table. It is very challenging to develop the platforms of engagements for different stakeholders and to develop the trust needed. It is a mammoth tusk enquire a Positive Record of Decision. It is very difficult to negotiate with difficult stakeholders especially politicians from Government.
Pros: Negotiations at the highest level(Government and Big Coporate Companies), Chairing Stakeholder Forums,Exposer to different divisions of the company
