has great training facilities. provides sufficient learning materials and the regulations are about saving and protecting the workers. normal working hours. everyone gets along with everyone obviously ther will be politics that are work related.

Receive approved staff requisitions from Line Manager
• Resolve issues, attend to queries and provide information to all customers • Answer and log all calls aim for first line query resolution • Escalate complex or sensitive issues to Service Centre manager or to case management for the relevant expertise within the SSU service to resolve. • Provide employee personal information related to confirmation of employment to external third party. • Update the employee personal data on the relevant system (SAP HR) upon request received (via telephone, e-mail, fax and manual paper) – anything from updating bank details, physical address, dependent removal and adding on medical aid, qualification etc. • Assisting customers (Eskom employees) in navigating on the Human Resources related systems (e.g. Employee Self Service, Employee Management Service) as well as other programmes • Administer Medical Aid and Provident fund schemes

Best industry for learning.
Eskom distribution provides the best learning materials to its students and a good working environment to its employees. While I was doing my inservise with eskom I was given good opportunity to learn and explore my skill. Colleges were good and treated me with respect and love. The project deadlines taught me time management and I enjoyed working in teams.

Excellent learning curve
Iwe do low and high voltage maintenance from 220v to 132kv we do inspection and fault finding on a daily basis. We treat each other like family we take care of each other. Working with electricity has thout me that safety comes first before anythng else.my company is a big company with a number of equipment like breaks transformers CTVT and a lot more and i have worked on them all.i know how to operate test inspect and maintain them...what i love most about my job is doing fault find and inspection when you do that you get to learn more about your job...so i really love working with electricity and would love to move up in the industry.

Its was great learning curve
We build and do maintenance of over head Power lines MV and LV .We install meters boxes, street light maintenance. We do maintenance on Ring main unit (switch gear),HV Operating 11-33Kv .I m team player and its a challenging job you must not take chances safety test for dead before touch
Pros: At Eskom there is opportunities of getting promotion but you have study
Cons: I work long hours to make sure we keep the lights on

Good working environment
If you want job security and to further your studies.this is a great company to work for.Growth opportunities are however limited.If you eat to study,they do pay for you andif you put your mind to it,you can become anything. Even though growth opportunities are limited,it's still a great company to work for.

Replacing equipment and Calibrating and installing them and working hard with no pressure..my knowledge is gain more because i love my job and inspire young people out there to work hard so that they can reach the gaols in life.

Excelence learning curve
I am currently working for Eskom as an Assistant document controller. I am holding my Marketing diploma and I also have a degree in Business Administration. I am an individual who is committed in what I do I work with contract document as well as incoming and outgoing correspondence for different companies. I have faith that I can be a good rather a suitable candidate for the job. I am currently residing in Mpumalanga Volkstrust. Working at Eskom Majuba. I can work long hours when it due, and I am willing to learn new things new environment. I can adopt so easily.
