Excellent learning curve
I work for Eskom which is a parastatal company and the biggest electricity company in Africa. I enjoy working for the company as i can see the contribution im making to the country and the importance we have to the community. As a management accountant my typical day to day activity involves managing the cash flow within the departments "cost centers " looking after the spending accuracy and advising management on fanancial challenges and risks and also helping in strategic decision making to enable management to make better business decisions for the benefit of the business. As a finance team we have a great working relationship since we rely one each other's imput towards the daily and monthly financial processes and we also encourage each other on better ways of dealing with our business partners and also on our career goals i can say we are a family in the workplace

Good learning experience

Also have a vast experience on coordination of refurbishment, direct customer, strengthening of reticulation and distribution substation and lines 11KV-132KV projects Has a long track record of ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality, within budget by effectively organizing, managing and utilizing all resources. My strength; I am able to adapt two different working environments effectively. I am self-motivated and able to work under pressure with attention to deal. I have excellent interpersonal skills and I am good team player with the ability to take the initiative. I am much focused and am able to work quickly. I am organized and efficient. I am committed on my job and always on top of my projects

Technical skills: Faultfinding, troubleshooting, reverse-engineering, soldering, technical presentation, technical reports, technical analysis, panel wiring, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 knowledgeable.
Pros: Working for the the only Power Utility in the SADC region.
Cons: Working as a trainee for a very long time.

Skills is what i have gain during my career , diffrent enginering and project proccessis
at time the emergent work calls and we really need to push the tasks at at hand , otherwise the normal routine maintenance activities continues , planned job and emergent tasks , as the artisan from Eskom environment we are bound to be RP's take out permits to confirm that the plant is safe to work on. working with different people is challenging and interesting at the same time, its give you the opportunity to learn and grow in dealing with different characters. i really enjoy to concentrate and completes my tasks at good quality saving time in the most appropriate way. and the challenging thing is to work with negative people , so must encourage the team the best way possible you can in order to achieve the best results by achieving our objectives in time.

I learn alot in underground cables mv and lv
Hi. I was installing min sub doing fault findings on mv and lv cables . I was also casting plinths .connecting lv cablesto the min sub .i also trasporting min sub .i also opparating crans.i enjoy a lot to work at eskom aldo with my colleagues.the job i was doingat daily basis i gor one enjoyed alot the faults yhat i came across was very interesting
Pros: The was no promotion up unless you push your self to school and apply the job
Cons: Yha overtime was also great because as soon as you start a task you must finish it

Excellent work ethics
Reduce downtime to avoid production bottlenecks in order to achieve set daily targets for planned production output. Avoid unplanned loss of load capability factor. Working safely according to OSHA ACT in order to minimise injuries and IOD. .
