The company is great but i feel i am not being paid according to my skill. I have good relationship with my colleagues . I don't like having to help my seniors with work while i am earning way less than them.

I was the fast learning during the work place.
I am a hart worker during the intercourse of work. I believed in a hart work, I am s person who like to work with other people. Combine the people and enjoying the work. I like to complete my work In time.

Future of offering better service to consumers will be established within the Smart Grid division
90% of the time I am on my own and thus have to be available always telephonically or via e-mail to provide assistance my colleagues as most of the time out of office. Organizing meetings including our weekly departmental meeting Taking minutes and following up on action items from previous meeting which must be completed before the next meeting. Constantly editing manager's diary to accommodated adhoc meetings requested by my manager's seniors and or last minute trips. I've mostly enjoyed being part of the team that established Smart Grid (totally new division). Work with highly qualified and technical people, all ages, from different backgrounds but have one vision. The energy and excitement is infectious. Being surrounded by Engineers and Specialists I have learnt to be secure in my own abilities, skills and what I have to offer them (this organisation) is just as relevant and has motivated me to study further for my own development.

Wonderful learning environment
The company is governed by processes and standards. Learning those is the key to getting an edge. That is why progress is delyed on projects and other maintenance work

KEEPING LIGHTS ON
I work as Project Coordinator for Eskom Telecommunication. It is such a humbling experience to be part of a team and company that seeks to delivery electricity to every industry and household in our country. We work in a project environment where schedules and deadlines are the daily bread. Yet the team spirit and leadership enables everyone to be the best they can be. This environment has learn me the that communication is key in helping to achieve the desired results, be it in electronic, verbal or on paper format. The most thing i enjoy about the project environment is to realise the deliverables, celebrating success and joy that it brings to the user/client. One of the most challenging part for me would be contract management, which may include procurement of goods that has potential to delay the project.

Best part of my job is the great people i get to work with an the customers i get to please.
It is the best company to work for,i have learn a lot from dealing with different kind of people old and young,suppliers and manufactures. what i enjoy most is being able to add value at the running of the station,where by i make sure that i order good quality and in time for the end-users and engineers to be able to perform their duties in time and with resources. on a daily basis i put PRs on SAP,i place orders,I expedite orders and i fax RFQs to suppliers and also make sure that the suppliers understand the scope or the description of the goods that i need. My relationship with my co-workers is good because we respect each other,we plan correctly and we sometimes help each other as we have a common goal. The most challenging aspect of my Job is when the end-user did not plan properly for the order and i have to pull strings to make it happen in time

has great training facilities. provides sufficient learning materials and the regulations are about saving and protecting the workers. normal working hours. everyone gets along with everyone obviously ther will be politics that are work related.

Great opportunity to increase work experience.
It is a good place to work. The plant is big and has ample opportunity to learn new things. We work with people from diverse backgrounds. i mostly work as a turner. The is only two eskom turners in the power station so we service all the departments within the station.
Pros: challenging.
Cons: under staffed.
