Eskom offers great work explore it’s nature enables one to build their career all round. One can easily climb to a Management position because of how it’s work functions are structured. It offers great flexibility and it encourages diversity

Excellent learning curve
One of the biggest companies in South Africa, great to work in. Employee benefits were great, as well as working hours. Racism is still real in the company.

Took company from good to great
It was challenging a lot since we were interfacing with different kinds of customers for different queries. I had a good relationship with my co-workers as i was their leader they wish me to come back. I learnt to be disciplined, focus and be detailed. I enjoyed solving employee and customer problems. The challenging part of my job was when i failed to help my customer due to company policy which i could not change.
Pros: I was taught to be a self starter and be innovative
Cons: I enjoyed to assist a customer even after hours without overtime payment

Good customer services, inner love for people, sensitive and can councell in an scinario
Eskom is called the employer of choice, working conditions are good as there is a strict 8 hour to be done daily there are no unplanned overtime hours. Relationship with co-workers is good because they have same goals as I , to assist the customer What is challenging is that you can not plan who you will see, sometimes an arrogant person just enters the door and you dont have a choice but to help and sensitise with him/her

Eskom course
I am a qualified Electrician, I'm competent in writing and practical in all the courses at Eskom. I really enjoy working with people from different backgrounds. I am team player and I give 100 percent in every task I'm given. The experience I gained at Eskom will help me to overcome any challenges that I might come across with at any company.
Pros: I would like to lead people like to manage them
Cons: I'm very flexible. I can work all kind of shifts

It is a great company to gain knowledge within the industry. They provide step by step training for beginners or students that train within the company it is a great company to start off your career at.

Acting project coordinator
I am an acting project coordinator for Eskom,special project department,vegetation projects. I have a good and healthy relationship with all my colleagues from different departments. I have learned humanity,integrity,innovation,customer satisfaction and working safe at all times. Plenty of room to learn and explore in different fields. Presenting projects to funding committees.

Excellent track record of achievement
I have good working relationship with contractors on site and my work mates. coaching and providing advise regarding health and safety issues. i have learnt to be patient and helping employees to achieve organisational goals. i have enjoyed working with highly motivated staff and willingness to improve.

Excellent career development path
Despite the negative media reports on mismanagement at the top. Eskom is still a good company to work for and to further develop one's skills. Opportunities for a career growth is still good to excellent.
