Company very large day to day it's very busy with walking in customers . My position is very demanding as all employees need my assistance .. I am very good in team work always willing to assist and learn from others, we working as a family. I have learnt how to work with multi cultures and how to communicate especially with Chinese.

Duties & Responsibilities • Microwave network planning, including air interface and service planning • Network integration • Responsible Huawei microwave product (Implementation and maintenance) in field of microwave transmission network in South Africa • TCP-IP Protocol and Subnet planning • Understand principle and able to implement inter-VLAN Routing • Implementing the VRRP • Principle of routing Protocol, Dynamic Routing protocol and OSPF • Deploying Routers(NE40E-X8A) and Switches on Telkom exchange • Citrix system • Router configuration (BGP,OSPF,MPLS,LAYER 2) • Support microwave commissioning,intergration and service migration • Migration of network • IP Provisioning • Site Supervision , quality control and coordination between Huawei and customers • Migration of RNC,BSC and MGW for Telkom

Great Company to work for
Huawei is a very big company it is all over the world. I have learnt alot of things here, how to be a team player, good communication skills and problem sloving reason being we work with customers and if the is something they not happy with it must be resolved immediately. I enjoy the most when we receive more projects from our client, I enjoy when i have to look for subcontractor, Organize material for them organize PO's and all those even the challenges that comes with it i do enjoy them because they make me think out of the box they make me break the limit. The challenging aspects are when the subcontractor doesnt do the right things at the customers premises and those are the challenges that has to be fixed within a day.
Pros: Since its a large company the are too many opportunities, but i do feel like i have been here for a long time now
Cons: I work overtime almost everyday because of a lot of work

A good learning curve in telecoms
Most challenging aspects of working in a Chinese company is communication problems due to language break down with the Chinese.However it's a learning curve and more knowledge when it comes to the networking principles..

Cultural Differences
We are all working together as a team, but the company favourite their chinese and consultant employees. There are major salary and benefits discrepencies, local staff employed through agencies dont get any bonusses, no annual salary increase. Just so unfair and they expect our performances to be the same. Working on month to month contract

Optimal chance to explores diverse view
The skills which the company gave each and every one of us to expedite experience of meeting different cultures and their expertise they brought to the country and the diverse of knowledge sharing due to their experience from their respective countries learning different language and their behavioral syndrome most of the turning point basically most to know the inter denominational of cultural activity, And first to know the combination effort to come up with the solution in terms when solving the solution of the persistent problem , great experience indeed

Big company to work for
Big company to work for, lots of reporting levels. If you're a permanent staff you will get preferential treatment. Got to be persistent and self motivator. Lots of challenges to get information due to lots of internal control.
