Typical work day

Typical Work day: - My day was always busy, but manageable. Daily task co-ordinating for th team, ensuing customers goods we despatched accurately and on timeously. Co-workers Inter-action:- Worked well together when challenges arose we got together and attended to problems amicably What have you learned :-Product knowledge was great, interaction with vets on various aspects of the animal anatomy. What did you enjoy most:- Operations management: I was given a mandate to run operations, as this was my strong point. Cstomers were turn always pleased. Challenging aspects of the job. The department was under staffed, resulting in staff making errord. Staff were required to work overtime often, resulting in them being tired and making unnecessary mistakes.

Pros: Pros - interaction with customers, internal and external, building relationships with veterinarians, up skilled staff to operate warehouse. Various duties within the scope of my job as operations supervisor.Was able to make decisions on my own within the scope of the business.
Cons: Cons - Traffic to the office and back was a nightmare, not enough open communication and support from manager. Long hours were becoming a thing of the norm.

Managing effeciencies of couriers and avis vehicles Managing customer services team . warehouse and work closely with sales team for forecasting for proper inventory management
