Great performance - value add

Banking industry is highly regulated . I focus mainly on Talent Leadership & Culture .These are the 3x pillars that help me add value to my organisation currently . Talent : Acquiring , managing and developing . This speaks to Recruitment, Performance Management and Succession planning Culture : This speaks to an inclusive culture that allows people of all races , gender , ages to be able to bring themselves to work without feeling prejudiced Leadership: Leadership Development , and living values to inspire our people . I believe these three pillars will propel our organisation to new heights , thus everyday I audit myself to see how I have contributed to these three pillars of our People Strategy.

To know your worth will motivate you to not stay in your comfort zone.

I enjoy the coaching and facilitation of workshops as this allows me to transfer knowledge to others. The operational and compliance audits has shown me the importance of processes within a business. My job also allows me with flexible working hours and due to my various branches, I am not always office based.

Pros: Flexible working hours and able to balance home, work and play.
Cons: My division tend to have many restructures and currently no room for growth.

Excellent learning curve

A work day starts with Meeting. Checking diary I am a peoples person work good in a team and alone I've learned alot and studied further. I most enjoy the administrative part and giving people advice

My challenge

working at my company is very challenging which I like everyday you learn something new. we have recently moved over to the SAP system its been a learning curve some days good some days bad. as they say change is good. my company has been good to me im just up for a new challenge. ive been at my company for about 7 years now. my manager speaks highly of me im here to do my job and to do it as best I can. Fully proficient in Collections and recoveries

Nedbank is a great company to work for. My daily duties includes preparation of weekly auctions at main auction house, attending auctions nationwide as a bank representative, stock and processes audits. Market researches. I am a Collections and Recoveries expert and well conversed in laws governing Debt Collections in South Africa. I enjoy great and sustainable relations with all our service providers. I mostly enjoy striking great deals for our distressed clientele through selling their vehicles at highest possible values. The most challenging aspects is low auction attendance because I'll have to dig very deep in the buyers pockets to try getting better and reasonable bids for our vehicles.

A good company to work at

I get along very well with my colleagues as well as my managers and have learned a lot from my manager's as for all the time I have been here they have always given me extra work which is aligned with my career development and support me when I need the support, on daily basis what I enjoy is getting different case's that needs different approach and comes with different challenges , having to start a case from the start , analyse and going up to reaching a conclusion is what I enjoy as it is not easy and comes with deferent challenges everyday

Uplifting Sales and the staff morale

Oversee the 3 branches,one main big branch and 2 small branches. Good coaching and mentoring skills. Supportive and an open door policy. Have learned not always give instructions before consulting and making sure the proper clear training was provided. I enjoy working with people seeing my bankers reaching their targets, talking to clients helping, retaining clients. Providing world class customer service and educating clients. Mentoring, coaching staff as well.

Motivation, career growth best company

Nedbank its a very professional .A typical day at Nedbank customer service that our first task as we enter the door ,I worked as a branch administrator before I start my day I need to make sure that my switchboard is working because all calls go through me and that's were our service start. I them prepare accounts ,do admin send off ,filling ,reports and check on tellers do authorisations. For my work to be fully done we worked as a team .I have learnt a lot about customer service ,manager of self and others .As a administrator you work with all departments I enjoyed knowing all the work in the those departments. The most challenging thing was banker not following the process in their paper work because it affected my work.

Understanding the clients needs

I would say a typical day is when clients are not attended on tiome and arfe unhappy with our service. My relation with staff is normally based on helping clients because we are here because of them II learn ed each and every client has thier own style and how you treat them makes one not take them personally interms of client being angry I enjoy talking and listening to them The challenges I have is not keeping our clients happy cause everyone has their own complains
