Excellent working environment but looking for a career change I need more growth

Working for nedbank was a great pleasure as I gained a lot of experience and business connections met a lot of new people the only disadvantage was staying in the same position for a long period although learning all the roles that where been done o by saying that I feel it was a bit slow paced growing environment to grow and get promoted

Good learning

I learned to how to manage my work and how to deal with pressure. Relationship I have with my colleagues helps me to be easy to meet my daily and monthly targets. I am enjoying to sell company products and being a brand ambassador.

Pros: Opportunity are less because of the restructuring

Great exposure

I am a Credit Manager in the Franchise segment. My day encompasses managing a portfolio of four Business Managers (sales people) with each having an average of 50 groups. This entails approving or recommending applications and reviews. My mandate is R10m. I check and sign excess reports to manage risk. Work with Risk department with regards to risky clients. Two Credit Analysts are direct reports. I work well with my team and I enjoy credit. The challenge is that it is admin intense because I get involved in the application process to checking facility letter and sign to checking and signing for security documents. It is expected of a Credit Manager to lead the team.

Excelent learning curve

Good to work at nedbank.I have a great understanding with my colleages.It is a very busy environment .My day start with initialising my cash as per previous day.And taking over stock.I have learned so much.Handling irate clients and giving world class service

Managed Business results - To collate and route client requests to the relevant department by compiling notes and capturing on the system to create audit trail of account activities. Ensure improved service delivery by escalating areas of concern outside service level agreement to team leader. Review reassigned requests by identifying pending information required to action the request.

Pros: improve human resource business proceses contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of tranformation goal by participating in nedbank culture building.

Great learning experience

• Sell Credit cards • Know Banking platform • Record sales • Increase formal value-adding note and investment opportunities by providing information and selling to the market on a timely basis • Build client relationships by undertaking client content-based • Update Banking Platform Record sales, enjoyed working with people due to the fact you learn from others. Disadvantages- If others do not perform it affects the team sales as a whole for the day.
