Excellent learning curve

I have a cost and management accounting diploma with more then 4 years experience in the finance sector . Great learning experience

I’m Jady Ross currently busy with my last year at Damelin studying Travel and Tourism. I’m very ambitious and very hardworking, I also have very well time management and computer skills as well, I can also work well with teamwork. I’m also a very fast learner.

Performing

There are worker bees and there are people who are there to talk and hide behind the worker bees. A lot of legacy employees at senior management who fight for power. They want to remain relevant till they retire. These people are very selfish and are not progressive at all. Us the performers then get demotivated when these dinasours get all the money and bonuses when the actual work has been done by us. We then leave and the bank is left with the legacy employees.

Team player, accountability, responsibility

I started working @ Nedbank in 2008 as a call centre agent, in 2011 I moved to credit card department (legal) where I was liasing with external collections on behalf of the bank as a credit administrator. Was then given an opportunity to work as a client liaison officer , dealing with all the queries from , Ombudsmen, Hello Peter, and all different queries from the clients

Btech in business management and RE5

I've worked in sales since 2009, i have worked as a sales promoter for cell C as well as Crimson room. From 2013 - 2015 i was a FICA administrator forABSA in the Small Business Banking Sector. I am currently a Banker at Nedbank; this job involves growing the retail banking portfolio, look for new business; servicing clients, as well as sorting and managing admin work from investments; fica; new accounts and credit applications. I am a team player, i constantly communicate with non sales staff to get leads for new business. I'm a great listener and very patient especially when it comes to servicing my elderly clients. This job has taught me patience, time management as well as to stay organized. I enjoy interactions with the different types of clients i service, all crom different back grounds and life experiences. Dealing with difficult Clients or trying to help an angry or aggressive one. can be challenging but i always find a way yo calm them down and resolve their problem.

Great development

I am responsible for managing audits to ensure it is in line with agreed audit standards. Managing employees to ensure we deliver on time and that outputs of reports is of great quality. Responsible for managing stakeholder relationships both clients (external) and colleagues (internal). I have developed healthy relationships from my stakeholders. I have learnt leadership skills and the most challenging part is managing people. However I have a good team of people who are assisting in ensuring best outcomes.

I have a solid experience of risk monitor.

The work is no monotonous as we monitor different risk exposures across various business units. Begins with accessing the diary for the day and at the T--Do list work flow. Almost all team members work and goes along well at the working related projects. It's a team working environment. One has learnt to speak out and come out of the closet as there are other strong team members who always speak up during team meetings. One need to always develop a continues reading to keep up to speed with this dynamic risky world. Risk monitoring is mostly enjoyable as it requires one to be knowledgeable about the risk topic that is being interrogated. One must know the correct standards and policy of the business unit being monitored. It's easy to mention monitoring findings ,however a more practical, cost effective recommendation that add value is required.

Cons: Traffic , and long hours spent which creat a high probability of road incident happening
