Its not a Job, its my career
My department is a high pressured environment, with great learning opportunities. The team dynamics are great as we all speak one language, and live the company values. My relationships are of high standard as I value each persons role and what they bring. I enjoy working with the variety of people and variety of personalities, the interaction between different departments and cross function skilling. with all these differences there are bound to be challenges which is the most exciting or driving part of my job, dealing with people and different situations. My team is made up of 45 people who are skilled in their roles and add a little spice to the team dynamics. Working with a lively group who air their opinions respectfully and respect a leaders decisions makes the work just more enjoyable.

Excellent starting point
This is a great way to start off your career but the con here is that they place you on a contract and permanent jobs is not guard. High turnover environment

Excellent company to work for in terms of atmosphere and numeration. Good morale. Great mentorship and career counseling to assist with growth. Work life balance proved to be a bit 9f a challenge though

Growth
A typical day at work requires me to source potential clients to take out a personal loan, completing all administration duties of the application form of clients,completing quotes for potential clients, Marketing the product,daily sales targets must be meet with month targets set out ,Stats must be completed,Managed Transformation and Change ,Managed Self ,Initiated Stakeholder Relationships ,improved Business Results and assist with Internal Processes. I have leant to work well with my co-workers as we need to source business daily, weekly and monthly. We are targeted monthly and some months are good and some are bad and I find this challenging but I love a challenge as I always rise to the challenge and I have been performing year on end and I have met yearly goals. What Ienjoy the most is seeing how I have helped a client when they have received quality service and product they have come in to seek at the bank. And seeing how happy the client is.

Excellent learning curve and a great experience
i enjoyed my time working for nedbank as acompnay but was nit happy about how mamagement of my division dealt with certain issues like trainining growtg ,and promotion

start with a coffee, then do daily data extraction check, do a round with managers to see if they need anything,check emails for data requests, do adhoc requests, do report enhancements.

Banking
I was told in high school i should study towards becoming a CA i hated the fact that i had to take accounting and i never did i was good at it and i scored well until i had the chance to change that subject and i took the chance. And look at me know I'm working in a financial area studying towards my financial expertise probably will be studying CA in a few years. It is fun and exciting to work with finances helping people understand their accounts how there funds work, investigating a problem and finding a solution to it. I always bring some innovation into everything as Nedbank loves being innovative, i am enjoying my job but im looking at gaining more experience and keeping my options open as well as being able to fund my studies! I want to be apart of the new future and apart of the worlds solution not its problem.
