It has offered me the chance to experience how the field of work i have chosen.
I have learnt to type much faster as it is something I am doing on daily basis. I am also working very closely with clients and potential advisers, which has taught me great people skills. The most challenging aspects of my job is the cold-calling I often entail, but I have learnt to master of art of cold-calling and I am enjoying the company vibes as everyone gets along and is friendly.

Follow my passion
In a typical day in my last position I fulfilled management tasks of branch, as well as overseeing a staff of seven individuals. Throughout the day I completed various administrative duties as well, including answering phones, drafting documents and emails, filing and greeting customers. I also provided strong customer service and resolved customer issues. A transformational leader because of my passion for individualised consideration and intellectual stimulation, very much visionary which evolve around the importance of all employees to ensure efficient and quality service rendered. Highly motivated and innovative strategist with excellent interpersonal skills who thrives on teamwork and challenges

Outstanding growth curve
Working at sanlam is basically a stepping stone, as it is a very big company rather diverse. We don't only deal with Insurance but all kinds of ways of saving money for people, I don't have a problem working there but the only issue is i'm a fresher from varsity, this was my first job after varsity and I have gained the experience, I therefore need to spread my wings and fly and get a better salary. I enjoy working with people, and getting to learn new personalities each and everyday, old, young ,man and women. Socializing is quite exciting and it grows you as a person as well. T he most challenging aspect has to be my salary, i feel i deserve more then what I am getting. However I have learnt patience, persistence, consistency, and inner growth in my journey with sanlam. But I can not stay a Personal Assistant all my life, I need a challenge bigger then it. But all in all I'm grateful for the opportunity i have in Sanlam.

Good numerical skills
I am a Gentleman of aged 33 currently working for Sanlam as a senior Billing administrator, Due to the 5 years of experience I had with Sanlam Sky Finance department I think I’m the suitable candidate for this position as some of my Responsibilities is collect and allocate all monthly premiums and balance the accounts, I have obtained my grade 12 in commercial subject in 2001 and also did my international computer driver’s license in 2006, obtained my level4 of long term insurance in 2009, I then did my Accounting short course in 2013 , I manage working independently under pressure and obtain quality results

Have excellent resolution skill and ability to multi-task
Basically my work at Sanlam is to check the record of a client if the client have many claims or not and if she/he have valid licence then forward that information to our sales consultant

Excellent learning curve

Fast and competent learner
I deal with paying outs of pension and provident funds. I communicate with clients on a daily basis, handling queries. we have a team based environment and we have to work well together to make sure that we all meet targets for the month. My communication skills have improvement and i have learnt how to work under pressure. It gives me joy when i have finalized a claim without any hassle. The best part about my job is that you learn something new almost everyday. The challenging aspect includes when Funds are liquidating and one has to explain to clients the process it takes before they can be paid out. It is challenging because these involve sections of the Pension Funds act that most people do not understand and clients start to think that we are just withhold their funds.

Brilliant exposure to financial environment and markets wiht investment and financial planning.
A typical day in the office will require to finalise any administration ,documentation pertaining to new plans, follow up on outstanding requirements. Do cold calling and canvassing for new prospects. Meet with clients and doe presentation on the needs identified. I have a superb relationship with my colleagues, being in a financial advisory environment my colleagues are majority of the time in high spirit and driven. I have completed my financial planning 1, as well as my regulatory exam RE5. Learned significantly about investment options, different plans and tools, different markets and the impact of the economy on funds and fund growth. to make a sound financial decision that will be to the best interest of your client in the years to come. I enjoy meeting new people and to learn what they are all about and what drives and motivates them. Most challenging for me is listening to people and their situations in the current economical climate, this can be disheartening.

Excellent Learning Curve
Always good working with different people, Learning a lot about different Cultures. I learnt more about staying calm all day long.
