Good learning curve
Working as a cashier ain't a easy job. That is not where I see myself in the future. I only casual at shoprite till I find my dream job ,being an account in a company. I am a qualified accounting technician. I have done the course in 2018-2019 and got my results in this year January. That is reason why I apply to positios started it matches my field of studying.

Excellent learning and discipline
Shoprite its a wonderful company that gives people alot of opportunities and it has a good motivation,discipline and learning especially if u really like learning you can learn alot of thing within shoprite.like my self I've learned lot of things but I now think its time for me to learn different things and grow my knowledge. I have learned about discipline in Shoprite that as a person you must be discipline in order to discipline others when you are discipline you become a great leader and u become a good example inside the company

Bad learning curve
Working at Shoprite is very challenging as well as stressful, because we work many hours without enough pay, they dont pay over time and when you ask why? they tell you are doing the company a favour as if you have a choice, we rate R16 an hour which is way too small according to the normal wage. The Management is condescending, they treat us like young kids.

Mind challenging
As a worker at shoprite i feel im underpaid as there is no growth their and hours are fixed we get paid weekly ther's no way people can save as we basically living from hand to mouth

Working with different people of different culture
when the talk-man does not work clearly we were in proper relation to my core workers i have learnt to work with different cultural backgrounds( cultural diversity) is when the is break time were there socialisation and when then target has met for a day the challenging part is when talkman stucks and you need to give 100% of your performance

Excellent learning curve
I work at shoprite as a picker in a cold storage. My hourly rate is R24.30 for 3 days per week 12 hours a day. That makes me a very strong person and i believe in myself that i can face any stuation. I learn many thing among all of them how to behave in different people who have different cultures. I respect my superiors at any cost for the benefit of the organisation and i follow their instruction i meet the set targets always. I manage to work underpressure , am a problem solver n self-motivated

Ambitous achiever
My name is Thirusha. I worked over 5 years in a retail in a retail enviroment where i learnt various skills and knowledge that is in my cv. I also went for SETA training in customer service. I am looking for a platform to build a career i strongly believe that what work we put out is a portrait of ourselves, therefore I always do my utmost best in every task put forward. Get to master my duties with time
What we do at shoprite as deli assistant we cook, prepare display, and serve customers. What is challenging about our job is preparing everything in two hours while there did not schedule enough staff for 6 o'clock because first shift start 6 o'clock and when the store opens at 8 o'clock everything must be ready.what I have learned is that I am able to work under pressure with no supervision and able to make a decision on what I must do first and what is important at that present moment. I am a friendly and fun to work with I have just realised that now there are groups of retail students that they come for their training each group they love working with me and they always come to say say after their training same with my cousin worker's when I'm day off they don't like it and I never had to quarrel with any of them. I love what I do because I became a master of it even the branch manager have noticed but doesn't want to say it to me.
