Very high responsibility but workshops or required courses provided

Working at TFG is to understand different functions of Health and Safety. You have to be 100% focused to be able to execute your job function. You also have to understand each and every buildings different functions, workers and risk responsibilities. Working at TFG have learnt me to be on time at all times because of your function within the company. What I have enjoyed most was that everybody respect you for what you do, referring to your function. Always on their toes when you enter a department and knows that you will not tolerate irregularities and etc. The most challenging aspect is when you working on shifts, especially night shifts, than you responsible for the entire company with its distribution centres, security personnel and all health and safety equipment.

Pros: Lot of possibilities within the company to change careers
Cons: Our department was not having any promotions and or development

Gain experience, know work ethics.

Sell variety of insurance products to existing clients of TFG. I work well with my colleagues. I am a team player. I like to socialize with new people, I am easy to talk to. I do what is required of me in the work place. I meet my daily and overall target for a month. I always put extra hours if I see I won't make my monthly target. I am a people's person who enjoys being around people, I have a bubbly personality. TFG thought me that clients they always right, and at all times we must give accurate information.

Pros: Great opportunity for gaining experience.
Cons: No challenges.

Rewarding experience.

Total different environment compared to my previous employment at Scottsdene Community Day Clinic. At TFG you find yourself liaising with plus minus 200 customers a day (updating accounts, approving accounts) as well as capturing data (new application forms) on a daily basis. What I enjoy and stands out the most is working as a team. The fact that your colleagues will always assist you and drive one another to reach targets. The challenging aspects is probably reaching your target, but as I mentioned and believe, is when you hard driven and stay positive, it rubs off onto the next one and a team that is highly motivated can achieve a lot.

Pros: A lot of room for growth
Cons: 38 hours a week
