Good learning curve

I enjoy working at Thorburn, my colleagues are friendly that makes things easier and creates a good and healthy working environment. The managers are making certain that everything is under control more especially when it comes to safety. The experience I got is to work with more than 50 people in one building. I never even a single day had an argument with any one of them. The challenging part of my job is to meet deadlines where co-workers are not sending through reports on time, I have to follow up before the due date to avoid any late submission of the reports.

GOOD

I AM WORKING 12 HOURS A DAY 5 DAYS A WEEK. I AM AN TEAM PLAYER I LIKE MY CO -WORKERS. TO BE RESPONSIBLE. I ENJOY TO WORK AS AN INDIVIDUAL. THE MOST CHALLENGE AT WORK IS KNOCK OFF TIME

Good learning experience

Working for my current employer is very demanding because you work under the microscope of clients and managers so I don't get an opportunity to express myself.what makes it a little bit easy is the fact that I have a good team that I work around with.i have learnt a lot ever since my arrival because I get a chance to work with people that are coming out of our country so they have different ways of doing things.

A typical day work day will include coming on duty getting feedback from my site senior to confirm that all post is covered. Have a meeting with my site senior to make sure there was no incidents that happened during the night. Sign all documents and make sure that all equipment is still in good working condition. open email and plan my day as per Truworths requirement. Relationship with co-workers is that we always to work as a team. Open door policy if they have a problem they can come and discuss the problem. very open minded and a good listener. Give people the opportunity to express their concerns and see how we can we can work together to resolve the problem. I've learned to respect people because we all are different, and to have patients with people not to be judge people. What i enjoy most is to help people to identify problems and coming up with solutions. Working with difficult people and getting their mind change to see the companies vision.

Pros: Started as a normal security officer, completed my grade A, had the opportunity to develop my self, got experience in retail, industrial, residential and the corporate industry. Worked at Old Mutual man power over 75 security officers.

Great exposure to learning

Was working at the campany now not working, had a great expriance and goos relationship with my core workers,when i started working there did not know how to use computer but now am good at it. Learned how to work as a team as well. I ejoyed with deferent people and my dificulties was when i come across people whom dont wanna understand the procedures of the company but what i like is that at the end will make them do.

Pros: Is hard to get promoted

MY COMPAN YIS GROWING VERY FAST

I SCAN AND DESPATCH CARTONS DAILY,I LIKE TO WORK WITH MY CO-WORKERS BECAUSE WE WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM. I ENJOY DATA CAPTURING AS I AM ALSO FAST IN TYPING. THE MOST CHALLENGE IS AT THE AFTERNOON WHEN WE ARE WAITING FOR THE VEHICLE TO COME AND COLLECT THE STOCK
