Good learning curve

It is a great pressure for me to work at Transnet with maintanance team. Doing preventative maintainance in all the business inside Transnet sites. Some of breakdowns need team work and will require good communication. I enjoy solving and maintaining breakdowns because it will require thinking and solving strategies. I work well with a group and alone. I have learnt that opinions of others are important and never take your work lightly. I have lean how to connect electrical panels and how to maintain a machine. challenging aspects were when we don't agree to the same thing but eventually we work together.

Supply Chain Management and Business Management

With my qualifications in Logistics Management as well as Public Financial Management coupled with the experience i have obtained, i believe i can be an asset to the company. I have learnt a great deal of working with people as well as obtaining people management skills. I am a hardworker that can work under pressure always striving to meet the goals and target dates set. I jave learnt a great of aligning my performance with the KPI's set. In my previous job i enjoyed the daily business challenges which enabled us to be on top of our game all the time as i was required to come up with solutions.

i have learn alot of things as artisan at Transnet Engineering currently looking for permanent job im fast learner willing to learn new skills i have N5 Mechanical Engineering i would like to study further to complete my N6 and do Diploma in business management.

Cons: I work 40 hrs a week with more hour for overtime

Great working hours

Its a good company. Would be a great company with the correct management. The working hours a good. Two bonus for performance as well as a thirteenth cheque. Its very difficult to get a promotion in the company for some reason.

Excellent learning curve

Good stable company to work in and to learn and grow. The culture is diverse as you get to work with different races of different levels. Safety is of the uttermost importance. The company provides training for bith it's students in training and employees making it an ideal environment for academic, skills and financial growth.

Great learning curve

We have hectic working days when there are lots of breakdowns,I have to be able to handle people with different characters and background,the most challenges that you get is when you have to do fault finding on a machine without manual so you have to find a way of getting the machine to run,I enjoy when I have to go extra mile for my job
