Trainee at Transnet that’s looking for an income to further my studies
lOne of the best companies to work for.But I was only a trainee and not a permanent member of the company I’ve gained exotand currently looking for a Job to cultivate my skills.

As a hard worker, I don't have a problem working in a team.
This company that I'm currently at, it's one that gave me so much skill and enhanced knowledge The thing is right is they don't hire so I'm looking forward to work and gain more knowledge somewhere else.in me.

Excellent learning curve
 Implementing a Quality Management System.  Perform final approval on all products deemed critical.  Schedule and conduct first party Audits.  Ensure that Service Level Agreement between the interdepartmental are adhered to.  Analysis of Data (NCRS and Audit reports).  Non-conformance Report investigation and putting in place Corrective and preventative action.  Ensure compliance when components are received from the suppliers. Conduct suppliers Audit and make recommendation thereafter.  Coordinate Quality awareness.  Management representative during ISO Certification.

It was a experience and a learning curve
Working at Transnet has been incredible, the environment is friendly and my co-worker we have a good relationship and we work together even if you do not understand something they help you.what I enjoy is creating a new filling system for my department. Challenge that I met i had to learn and work with people from a different background cultures,I had to learn their culture so that we can work together

A broad range of engineering and management skills in a large company
I work 08h00 to 16h00, with some after hours work when required. I am in middle management, supervising young engineers and reporting to a chief engineer. I have responsibility for providing technical support across the Group and country. I have the freedom to do research, investigate issues, run projects, advise on maintenance, do failure analysis and generally contribute to all aspects of the technology. I do not manage a large budget or take ultimate responsibility for projects. I work with a diverse range of people and levels.
Pros: Great multi-disciplinary learning experience.
Cons: Bureaucratic decision making can be frustrating. Defensive culture.

Excellent learning curve
I have been in the company for over 4 years and the experience is amazing. The salary is not that good but I have learnt a lot from the company. It has built a strong character out of me

Transnet is a safety first company
Transnet is a very big company were all the employees get to work in a healthy environment and mostly the employees safety come fisrt.most of the co-workers have strong relationship as during lumchtime we sit togeter snd share alot and mostly bond.
