An excellent organization to work for
A very well balanced organization to work at. Acquired a vast degree of skills an expertise in customer care/ freight/logistics/import/export etc. I have supervised personnel and ensured customer demand is met in keeping with company policies and protocols in a safe and consistent manner. Where deviation management was necessary, the process had to be followed and implemented.

Well transnet is an excellent learning curve if you're still a young guy as i am
Well i'm a hardworker and self motivated. My day to day schedule is sometimes hectic but not all the time,i usually work on both the milling and lathe machines almost everyday. Sometimes the work isn't that much so a person finishes fast and relaxes with co-workers. My relationship with my co-workers is very interesting cos up to so we haven't gotten into any physical fighting ,so I'd consider my relationship with them is very good. I have learned alot of things at transnet, that u should learn to work with people of all race as equal and that you should never give up no matter how difficult Or challenging the job may be.
Pros: Always submitting your work on time and being a team player
Cons: Working overtime may sometimes help you get a promotion but actually it's up to you because it really boosts your pockets

I am currently doing Baccalaureus Technologies Degree in Quality Management with University of Johannesburg. I completed a Diploma in Industrial Engineering. I am currently working for Transnet Group Capital (TGC) as a Process Engineer, where I have learned a lot about business process reengineering and continuous improvement. I have learned the value of being punctuality and to follow the instructions accurately and it has also given me confidence on my ability to handle daily problems appropriately. My career objective is to become a professional Industrial Engineer or Quality specialist. I am equally happy working as part of a team or independently.

Learnt a new skill in master data
Vert tight deadlines, no real trust and too much red tape. Decisions and strategy take forever. Skeleton teams and bureaucracy make delivery difficult. Great people but poor leadership. A fantastic environment to learn how not do things. I learned a new discipline in proper master data that was great. My role scope increased and covered more that pm work, practically ran the department. Managed the department budget and contracts but have no doa nor signing power on spend. Manages external software provider
Pros: Great people to work with and good learning curve
Cons: Lack of leadership and too much red tape and change in leadership...too many acting positions.

Extensive knowledge of working practices
A multi-skilled professional with good all-round Wellness advisory skills. Very capable with an ability deal with all the physical and/or mental health and well-being needs of an organisation. Experienced in providing timely and up to date Wellness advice to both managers and employees whilst at the same time making sure both the employee and employers interests are best represented. Experience gained
I am a self-motivated hard-working young African that always strives for the best on duties assigned to me. I believe that nothing is impossible if a person is well informed and has the right attitude and qualities at their possession. Through my determination and hard work I believe I can achieve my goals in life. Having worked with different kinds of characters I am able to relate easily. I will always ensure that my continual quest to further my career serves my employer and always be a company asset. Good communication, team work (support and motivate each other) house keeping.
I use to assist with tools and materials to the eractors as well as first aid.i've good communication with others i help, support and motivate oneother as a team work. I've learn to respect and understand others. I enjoyed team work and good communication. The challenge we had is only weather conditions in our site when it's raining we can't work do to electrical hazards.

Challenging Opportunities
A typical work day for me is to compile engineering documents as part of the project lifecycle process. I lead 3 projects of which 1 is mainly managing resources and contractors, 1 is finalising designs and the third is to complete concept designs together with design reports and criteria. I have to do planning and estimations for all projects that I am involved with. I have a positive relationship with my co-workers and we get the work done. I am quality and time driven. I have learnt how to lead different sized teams that are very diversed. I have improved my communication skills as well as my designing skills. I enjoy the team celebrations when we complete the projects on time and on budget. It gives a sense of appreciation. The most challenging aspects of my job is working with difficult resources that is not always motivated to complete their tasks causing delays in the delivery of finished tasks.

I an learning a lot everyday
I joined Business Connexion on the 11 November 2004 and I was working as a buyer until 30 April 2013. Then on the 02 May 2013 I joined Transnet as a senior Buyer and I am currently working for Transnet. I work with tenders and managing the contracts. My relationship with my colleagues is good and we share ideas on daily basis
