Exellent leaning curve
I have a good relationship with all my culeques . I also try to finish my work on it. to be productive as possible as I can. to assist my coluques and to stay positive at all the time. I always try to come with solution rather than creating problems. I ask where I do not understand I always try to be honest with everyone.

i was working on a very good condition and my relationship was very good since all my project were based to my people,they showed me to be patient and execute,what i liked by them as much they were difficult but my project were successfully the worse case scenario was the management they use to put more pressure on me.

Learnt so much in terms of logistics
I start work 15minutes before to analyze the work for the day and plan. I communicate with co-workers about the expectation from senior management and customers. I have a good relationship with co-workers and as well they have good relation with me. I have learnt a lot in terms of communication, leadership, reporting and presentation skills to mention a few. My challenging moments is when we have challenges in reaching the expected target and need to report to customers and senior management. The good moments is when we are ahead of target allocated to us by both management and satisfying the customers.
Pros: Reliability; focus; communication skills are required to be applied.
Cons: Longer working hours and working under pressure.

From a Junior buyer to a Procument Manager in 10 years.
I'm an Acting Procurement Manager at Transnet Property. On a typical day I start at 06h30 checking on what was left undone the day before. From then I carry on with needs to be done for the day, like checking on the project progress and attending to meetings. I currently have a staff complement of 5 people reporting directly to me. 3 do the Operational works (OPEX) and the 2 are responsible for all the capital projects (CAPEX). The daily challenges of good reporting, meeting timelines and different characters are some of my learning experiences I had. I really enjoy the different dynamics brought by each project I deal with. Also the different individual characters bring out the best in how each day will pen out. Some of the best days are when I have to travel for site visits as well as for project handovers. I get that sense of satisfaction from seeing the projects I started having been completed.
Pros: I'm currently acting and hope to be appointed asap.
Cons: The scrutiny that is put on Procurement can sometimes be overwhelming.

Doing fault finding on diesel and petrol engines
On my normal working I do maintenance on hydraulic equiment,inspection on stand by plants. Relations with my co_workers is very good good cause most of the time im overloaded with work they keep me informed via email due to the distance from one deport to the other. Doing fault finding is the thing I enjoy most cause thats were you learn a lot. The most chillenging part is the person I report to his a civil engineer cause as a millwright I do get stuck or face challenges and it affects the wholes operations you explain to him your challenges he will expect to even come with the solution for those challenges. Even understanding where your coming from or going pertaining those challenges the guy is cluelles.
