Great company to grow your sales skills

Year Beyond has given me experience and education opportunity through their program with Stellenbosch University and to work with learners at a primary school as am after school volunteering tutor. It's a company that has diversity of cultures and races and respects their staff and rewards them for their hard work at schools.

I attend leadership course at University of Stellenbosch and it was a great experience to be there

I gained lot of skills like communication skills and Leadership skills. I learnt how to treat others and that we are different. we must not take things personally

Informative and learning curve

I started at AVA as volunteer the following year became an employee, was very good experience for me because it has been my first time as an employee, and also I got to know more about work ethics and get to share the information as I was learning. It is an NGO funded by Government so it's basically in 1 year contract, it's unstable workload that changes year to year.we have had a very good management team.

Pros: Great opportunity to be open minded

Excellent exprience

My job Description Data base Copies Scanning Petty Cash Calculate expenditure Stationary taking E-mails answering calls Filing Communication What I enjoyed the most its database,Petty cash and filling . I learnt a lot from the NGOs e.g communicate and structure of how to be creative and the most important be yourself and don't try be someone else.

Good growth opportunities

I am currently a psychology student at UNISA and looking for a job whilst studying. I am punctual, accountable and reliable I do something properly or not at all I work well in a team and as an individual.

Pros: great opportunities to grow and excel in the space, a suportive staff.
Cons: Travelling is expensive
