Excellent way to help communities but the salary is very low

I work on Donor Reports. My job is to report back on the work done in five of our centres across South Africa. Each centre runs seven programmes which are: Early Childhood Development, Child and Youth Development, Career Development, Alumni, Family Support Services, Nutrition and Food Security and Primary Health Care. Apart from this, I do specific reports for Camps, outings, events, and training. My reports also include M&E statistics which I have to consolidate and adapt for my target market to easily understand.

Pros: Great work in terms of developing communities
Cons: No opportunity to earn more

Excellent working environment

the company is well organised. we all have good relationship with each other. everyone is willing to assist. and they all do their work in time. there are time for team buildings i have learned that you should always do your duties in time whether a due date is far. i enjoyed the time where we get out for lunch building a team where everyone is given time to talk. i never heard any challenge because i was working on computer and am very good in working on computer

Learning

the working hours are great, i enjoy working there, i have a good relationship with all the workers, they say people wont love you all because you are not money. i have learnt to control my emotions at the workplace, have good communication. i enjoy doing my work because it makes me forget about all the things happening outside the workplace. the most challenging aspects is meeting new people.

There's a chance for growth

There's growth as I'm working with young people,I'm dooing daily capturing,Filling Answering phone from the young people and from JHB as we have four centres at that side,I have a good communication with the co-workers I've learned capturing skills and how to work with different people

Relaxed environment but filled with plenty of experience

A safe haven for kids. Educational space and a good learning place . This place is good for learning and helping disadvantaged kids. They come here for meals and to enhance their skills. We have great dedicated and hardworking staff who put the needs of the community first

Extra caution is needed since the environment is children's environment. Needs energetic people because a lot of learning takes place. The culture of the place is a family like place.

I am a best learner of project manager

I mai enjoy managing 60 candidates because they uunderstand what iseeded. i enjoy working with my team we helping each other with our jobs . i have learnet to stand up in front of many people whereas i was shy
