Excellent Learning Curve

A typical work day include getting a design spec of what the client wants and I have to use those designs to produce a working product the client is happy with. The company I work for has a software used as a warehouse management tool and it can be customised to the client's needs. I do the customisation via SQL as our software uses information from SQL databases. We have a close relationship with each other in the company including the CEOs. Everyone is free to ask for information or assistance from anyone. I have learnt how to work on projects, alone and with a team, and how to work with clients. I enjoy getting the final product up and running and getting a satisfied client. The company is small and has a lot of clients, it is challenging working on a project and also providing support to other clients at the same time.

Pros: Great working experience, exposure to different operations of companies
Cons: Long working hours because of time frames of projects to be completed. No room for growth
