Good learning experience

Amaro foods is one of the companies that puts the value of of their customers in front of everything. Working at Amaro foods made me realize the importance of a customer, there is not even one day were would compromise quality over quantity. As a Production manager l would rather go short than to send poor quality product to our customer. Amaro foods is a bakery so most of our products have a very short shelf life, so this means we have to work all the weekends so that we will be able to supply freshly baked goods.

Excellent learning curve in other manufacturing environment

a typical work day is making rolls and hot cross buns for Woolworths. It involves ensuring that daily orders are full and co-ordinaitng staff to ensure this is achieved.

Learnt how to cope under pressure.

Plan your shift daily fast pace working environment, booking transportation for staff, Conducting stock take on a Daily routine will be planning production vs plan.. Order fill and OEE reports, minimize of waste applying 5S principles. Liasing with all service departments. ly basis

Good communication and quick learning

I am 7 to 5:00 good relationships with mmy work mate's I m learning more about how to to with with different people, Enjoys a a good working hours, The most challenges accidents, injuries and messes

Good Learning Curve but no growth or development for staff

No growth for staff as individuals ( no learning courses offered), constant deadlines make it difficult to take leave. We work well together as a team but no support structure offered

Quick to learn

My job defines me I get to work with people team works and sharing ideas with them and everyday it’s day for me to learn new staff about my job an get to understand things better I lo love the food industry and I live it I have learnt that in a work place we all came for the same goal and if we don’t work together towards that goal we failing the company goals I enjoy working with people and and working in the food industry at large The only challenges are having to produce day to day products same day delivery and working under pressure and working with products with short life also and managing people the co.mpany goals and

Excellent salary

I had a great relationship with management and staff. I was responsible for HR and payroll. I have learnt to be proficient and to do things right the first time. I enjoyed working with people on all levels.

A typical work day

The environment is bad and soil management. Always have to worry about getting warnings or being threatened. There isn't much to learn but seems like a good place to start or retire

Internal training

I am.a very enthusiastic and curious person. I like learning and get knowledge not only from job I doing but on other position as well.to be able help on times of need

Pros: Back up sup.
Cons: I would asked to work over time from 07:00 - 18:00 for 5 days then I get a day off. Inever had a problem od doing that because that is something I like.

Excellent learning curves

I am a very hard worker can operate up to 5 different packaging machines...leading a team of 30 people plus...currently running 2 departments and assisting another department when that coordinator is off duty...i am a fast learner and always wanting to learn more..good communication skills and can motivate people easily...training of new operators...always put in more effort than targeted expectation...goal is to always get production out on time at good quality and quantity
