A very challenging experience where everyday the mechanic is the man to have production as machines are the main resource co.plimented by human resourse Where breakdowns though inevitable must be attended to timously with efficiency. Preventive maintenance as the order of the day. Manning 3 sites with 70+ construction units 500km apart makes planning a trait. Working with different people of different backgrounds co kkkk our and creed so sweet sa and challenging Road paving tarring the most hectic and challenging see activity on site.very enjoyable though as pressure makes time roll fast. New systems come and are learnt fast depending on the nature of acivity

Pros: This boosted my experience and can fit in any environment with automobiles and earth movers.
Cons: Very long Working hours , the mechanic is the first on Site at 6:30 to check all machines and the last one to leave , time depends of activity on site, making sure all machine tanks are filled with diesel and hearing operator complaints/ reports

Working at construction is tiring sometimes, only because of few opportunities to grow.

Working at Asla construction has been a great deal for me. And I have learned the basics of running a business. Though at some point of the day, especially that I work as an site clerk. It is not that much challenging but there is time where it's very challenging especially when the site/project its starting a d most things like hiring and completing the contracts, making the orders of materials to be used and at the end of the month having to work with quantity surveyor a d provide to him the all the costs of labourers and materials bought, and having to also make sure you count all of the material that is left on site. That is the time when it's most challenging but at the same it is fun and enjoyable to see yourself busy like that.

Pros: There are opportunities like being a surveyor
Cons: 11 hours
