I get on very well with my staff and co-workers. The job has taught me to be store neatness , flexibility , firm but fair , accuracy , passion for my job , to be fair , responsibility and accountability. I enjoy the new challenges on a daily basis.

Excellent team and great products

A typical work day will start with a daily toolbox talk and meeting to discuss work related issues and performance output. I am very close with my small team of 20 warehouse staff and 3 office staff . In the 7 years with my current company I have learned a lot of people skills , how to work with difficult customers how not to break under pressure and to problem solve . I am not looking to leave the company that I work for but due to the current economic pressure our company did not survive and is closing down at the end of the year. To biggest struggle of working in the motor industry is getting new trustworthy / reliable fitment centres that will keep the same high standards and pride in their work as the products that we deliver .

Excellent learning curve

working as a junior industrial engineer at an automotive company like autovest made me gain lots of experience and being involved in project management and assisting production

I can work on my own and under presaure. I can work with a team. Time management and daily planning. I can lead a team as well. My work is always up to date.

Im in the SHE industry for at least 23 years.

Im in the SHE industry for at least 23 years. The majority of those years was in a managerial position, heading the SHE and Risk department. I had to travel regional to ensure the safety management programme that I have put in place was executed and in place. My role was to ensure all regulatory aspects was in place and to ensure the company risks was eliminated, to enable the CEO not to be placed into any risk situations.

Pros: Enabling me to work on my own, entrusting me to be the expert in my field and to acknowledge me in the position
Cons: Executive Management did not participate in the safety behavioral programs and was of the opinion that I should carry the responsibility and accountability of the SHER program.
