It was a great learning experience for me because it was a first job for me as a graduate.
One word can describe working at Avis is FUN, people are getting along, working as a team. I have learnt to appreciate and respect my co-worker because they always there to help especially me as an intern, the most challenging aspect was to deal with difficult customers but now I am used to it and I have learnt to deal with them.
Pros: great opportunities for growth, Avis always train to improve their employees.
Cons: I can say different working shifts.

EXCELLENT LEARNING CURVE
In my current position i am responsible for the full financial function. It has given me the opportunity to get involved with budgets and plans in depth. I enjoy working with people and enabling them to grow. I enjoy the variety my job offers.
Pros: Long hours not required as a rule

Excellent learning curve, time to grow myself with in a different company
A typical work day for me is to come in the morning, have a coffee and plan and organise my day before starting to attack the challenges of the day. I have a very good relationship with my co-workers as i am a very bubbly and happy person and love to help them with anything that they need help with. One hand washes the other. I have learnt a lot in this company, the are so many challenges and obstacles to go through that you take them on without a doubt as it will only make you a better person in life and your career. I enjoy everything about my job, we are mostly at work, so my colleagues are my family and no matter if we have bad days, you will always support your family. Most challenging thing in my career is dealing with 40 staff members.
Pros: greater opportunities out there for me
Cons: working on weekends, as i have a family that i want to spend with and working long hours unnecessarily

Excellent learning curve
Duties: Load new contracts on the procurement system Process monthly recurring rent payments on the procurement system Balance the rent expense accounts to the rent register (including communication with stations where no signed contracts are in place) Monitor and follow up on unsigned contracts and maintain general hygiene of the rent register Reconcile assigned balance sheet recons by the 20th of each month and clear any unreconciled entries monthly Prepare information for the tax pack for assigned accounts monthly Outstanding rent accruals to be processed and prepaid accounts to be expensed before month-end Review and approve all HQ Sales and Operations accruals and assist with SJR entries. Calculate and process turnover rent monthly, prepare payments and distribute certificates Compile month-end stats for Avis and Budget South

Excellent learning experience
Great organization, however still lots of improvements to be done in terms of equality. Race is still a big factor within staff members. Newly graduates are given a great platform to join the work place.

Exposure to new things
I currently work at a pressurized environment with huge volumes of work and tight month ends deadlines. I am a team player and willing to learn from others. Due, to wanting to grow myself I have taken more responsibilities from people that have left the company to get exposure. Therefore, I have learnt a lot about the financial department of the company.

Great experience and lot of growth
Working for the company has been a great experience. There is always growth with the ones role. There are too many opportunities for one to futhur them self in what they are doing and most importantly there support given to me was so amazing. The most key thing ive learned is for one to not limit them selves in what they currently doing but to be able to explore and also do great outside the boindaries of the company.

I am intererested in a job advert as im working far and transport is killing me.
my company is a very results driven company and consists of young vibrant people, our relationship is we work very closely wish our line managers, have learnt that team work is better than individual work. I enjoy how no one puts pressure on an employee but an employee puts pressure on him/herself to meet monthly targets.
Pros: there is great opportunity of growth
Cons: there are no long hours beiong worked.
