Good learning experience within my department.

My manager is a very fair person and she is always willing to give advice where my work is concerned. I like working within this department. The only thing is that the program that I am on does not give me much training on what I would like to learn that I feel will help me do my job much better than I am currently doing. The finance department that I am currently in is however a very nice department to work in and my colleagues are great in the sense that they are willing to teach me certain things that I do not know or am not completely familiar with. Overall it's a nice company to work for, and I am actually enjoying my work alot.

Pros: I received some training which I really liked and enjoyed as well as needed
Cons: I don't get training specifically for my job description, that I would have liked that would have helped me do my job better.

Good relationship with co-workers

Good working relationship with my co-workers. My current employment have equipped me with Financial Skills, Administration skills, Computer skills, Communication skills, Listening skills, Telephone and office etiquette, Time Management, Customer services skills, Planning and organising skills, and I have gained lot of knowledge in SCM, PFMA, Records Management policy, Assets management policy, Fleet management policy and Health and Safety procedures. Ive learned the importancy of treating wildlife with respect and about endangered species we have in our country. What i enjoy most is when we getting together with other co-workers from different Reserves and sharing the experience of our day to day work in our different stations. the most challenging aspects of our work is dealing with difficult customers.

Cons: Being far away from home

I enjoy it very much to work in cape nature. The people are very good and I have learn a lot from them andI enjoy it very much to work in cape nature. The people are very good and I have learn a lot from them and i also share the knowledge I got with them. Its always a pleasure to came to work because I enjoy my co-workers. Right now i don't have any challenging aspect because I understand my Job really well. I've learn about Nature here and Maintenance. Working for Capenature

I have learnt a lot about eco tourism and trends around the industry. I have learned how to manage relations with investors and funders. I formed part of the team that focused on Strategic resource guidelines for policy development. I have a lot of experience in Working with consultants throughout project development. From Feasibility study to tourism product development and marketing.

Pros: There is balance between work and private life
Cons: Growth is limited and there is no performance rewards or bonus

I would like to learn more.

The time when i was at Cape Nature it was nice and i did learn allot. I learn how to work in a group and also alone if you have to. I had a good relationship with the staff and other people at the work place. I enjoyed working with the staff that was always by me, and there was always communication. The most challenging aspect of then job was. I motivate my self and be the best i can be i do not have much to say. Please feel free to contact me asap on the positive outcome of this application.

Lovely travelling oppertunity

Lovely company to work for especially if you love travelling. Visiting nature reserves within the Western Cape and the staff are amongst the friendliest I've had the pleasure of working with. Nothing repetitive about this job, be prepared for the unexpected however you will have help at every corner from fellow staff members.

Pros: Great opportunity to travel
Cons: No promotions
