Excellent for learning curve

Capitol caterers gave me a Professional cookery certificate for that they will be always in my heart.I enjoy working there because the stuff is very friendly and they believe in team work which makes life more easier.since I'm working a have learn a lot from the stuff and the superiors to do things like receiving goods,ordering goods and storing them according to the fifo method.now I know everything that kitchen has to offer which make my job to be more fun and easy.sometimes we worked under pressure because of functions or special events and we still get the job because we work as team .the working hours are not bad because we are working shift.now I feel it's time to start a new chapter on my life to do something different from the kitchen because I want to learn more things from different industries and make new friends and I grow as a person.

My everyday job

My typical work day consists of 12 hours of work.. My current shift is from 6.30am to 6.30pm. I have learnt to work well with a team, I have learnt to delegate and be listened to effectively. At first it was done with much difficulty as im quite short and young so its hard for those older than me to listen to me. Its become a huge accomplishment for me. I enjoy when a team works well together without any friction which also ensures that food goes out with quality and presented beautifully.

Pros: I have the ability to grow
Cons: The long working hours

Exceptionally Challenging, and eventful days

This is a awesome and challenging job as you never have the same day twice And they have a awesome family company culture, that leads one to a good sense of security and belonging. . They are really on a upward curve in the industry but are one major national contract away from being the best in the business

Pros: good growth if you want to remain a project manager level
Cons: they are very pro women. Very tough for internal promotion for males into Operation on a Area Manager level

Good learning experience

A typical day was imparting new flavours and working methods tk improve the dishes we produced. Many rose to the challenge and made a difference in the quality of the food and flavours we produced. Some battled with change which made for difficult times with some. I got on with most and tried to get ghost who battled to keep going and improve...working with my boss and regional manager was great.. communication was good . I learnt to sdjust to a different working dynamic and enjoyed the growth.. covid placed unrealistic challenges to many and it caused many to be disgruntled and rebellious.. I tried to keep to the letter but it was not possible at all times

Cons: Covid regulations messed up normal work protocols

Good working environment

Working environment is good in terms of learning new coking skills n communicating with customers n co workers but the most challenging aspect is I want a better package because I can't afford to pay most things

Ive gain a lot of experience about food hygiene

i have been employeed at capitol caterers.i feel that i am well experienced and can handle this position.i am well dedicated indivisual who always takes task with initiative and work well under pressure.if given the post i promise to proof my peformance as outstand.i hope my application recieves your favourable condition.i was placing orders ,recieve order,do stock take and costing it,i did daily issued,managing staff and to make sure that they follow the right procedure for food hygene and personal hygene and to make sure that they using the ryt material to avoid cross contamination.

Pros: it was a great oppotunity for me to work at a big company like capitol
Cons: i was working for 10 hours maybe till late if we got functions

The best opportunity

Working for catering for a big number of people it is a challeging when u have to work on time to give them the best service ever to make the client happy To be given this job it will be a good opportunity for me and i will be happy Thank you
