Fun, stressful, dead-end.
There is a steep learning curve and a large amount of standards to memorise and familiarise yourself with. Orders come in unpredictably and are required in very short time frames. Rules and standards are constantly being altered and orders regularly come in terrible quality and you are make them perfect. Co-workers are like family, we constantly rely on each other for help and productive competition.
Pros: Teaches balancing efficiency and quality, work is generally fun.
Cons: No room for growth whatsoever, unpredictable orders that come in horrible condition, inconsistent rules and standards for orders.

Dealing with customers
Working at Catch has been a good learning experience. I've learnt how to type out descriptive replies in under 3 mins and have dealt with customers from all over Africa. Due to our department being open 24 hours 7 days a week, I have been able to adjust and work during odd hours. Also due to my work being time sensitive, I have grown accustom to working under constant pressure. Luckily we do not have to take work home with us, so the work stress stays at work. The environment is young and vibrant. As much as working hard is emphasised, we still get to have a fun work space.
Pros: Great learning experience
Cons: No promotion
