Good opportunity

If truly loving writing, public relations, communications and strategies, trade marketing, brand leadership, nurturing business partnerships and relationships, and spending numerous hours on research and innovation is wrong, then I don’t want to be right. I am keenly interested in the Communications Manager role you have available. My communications and PR focus is not on counting the people reached but rather, reaching the people that count. I’m currently the PR Manager at Cheil SA looking after Samsung Electronics and holistically the consumer electronics and corporate portfolios. Working with a variety of well-known clients and media within South Africa, I cover all mediums of communication and brand building. From the development and execution of tailored PR plans for each product to crisis communications, CSI management and measurement and evaluation of campaigns - I do it all. My outgoing nature and strong liaison skills make it easy to communicate

The company is male dominant and they only take ideas from Koreans only there is no promotion for blacks, salary reviews are only for Koreans. If the boss doesn't like you the let you go. No counter offer

No growth,only Koreans get monthly bonuses,male dominant, no idea for blacks.blacks are treated unfairly, managers care about client than employees no meetings, no salary increases but we do all performance processes

Great learning curve

Cheil SA is the sister company to Samsung. an international enterprise. The environment is very relaxed and allows fof ciaos at times. My daily task is to manage work flow of 12 individuals in the creative department. I liaise closely with the HODs and group heads. Ive learnt so much about management and leadership. I enjoy working with creatives the innovation is exciting

Motivational working environment

A typical work day involves managing all accounts, which involves administrative tasks such as follow up calls with clients, site meetings or office meetings with suppliers or clients, consultations with in-house creatives and designers, etc. We have learned that having project management systems and tools in place is key for this role. My co-workers are very helpful and work easily as a team. I enjoy seeing how the team effort contributes to successful project outcomes. The biggest challenge is introducing new ideas and getting them executed.
