Safety officer

To work on a refinery is like working on a bomb each and every day. It needs extra caution to achieve the each`s task safely without any injury or near misses. To achieve this you must have good communication skills with workers and be ready for sudden changes and interruptions. I have learnt that ,as a safety officer you must be quick to think and make good decisions when emergencies and accidents happen.

Pros: The company has agreat opportunity for promotion
Cons: The hours for work are no all that long except for shut downs
